Dichen Lachman is an Australian television and film actress who has been cast as Sierra in Joss Whedon's Dollhouse, a FOX television series.
Early Career
Lachman's first film role was a small part in Aquamarine, a film based on the children's book by Alice Hoffman. The movie tells the story of two girls who discover a mermaid. While filming Aquamarine she was asked to audition for the long-running Australlian soap opera, Neighbours. She got the part, and joined the cast as nurse Katya Kinski in 2005. Dollhouse
Dollhouse is a television series scheduled to premiere on the FOX network in 2009. The storyline of the show revolves around a group of agents, referred to as "dolls", whose personalities can be wiped clean and imprinted with new personas, memories, skills and languages. The "dolls" are hired to carry out crimes, play out fantasies and complete various jobs. Other cast members include Eliza Dushku and Olivia Williams.
