Diane Keaton is an American film actress, director and producer. Keaton is the oldest of six siblings. Keaton began her acting career as a stage actor and made her acting debut in 1970.

Personal Life
Keaton claims she was inspired to become an actor when her mother Dorothy Keaton competed on stage in the "Mrs. Los Angeles" pageant for homemakers. She was also inspired by the strong independent female actress Katharine Hepburn. Keaton was romantically linked to actors Woody Allen, Warren Beatty, and Al Pacino. Keaton adopted two children named Dexter and Duke.Acting Career
Keaton's first major film role was that of Kay Adams in The Godfather. From there she went on to play in the films Play It Again, Sam, Sleeper and Love and Death. Some of her most recent films include Somethings Gotta Give, The Family Stone, and Because I Said So.-
