Diane Black is a politician in the state of Tennessee. She serves in the 104th General Assembly as a state senator in the Republican Party. Elected in 2004 to the 18th Senatorial District, Diane Black represents most of Summer County and all of Robertson County.
In June 2009, she entered the national spotlight after her assistant, Sherri Goforth, sent out a controversial email featuring a collage of portraits of American presidents where Barack Obama is represented as a pair of white eyes against a black background.
