Amos Dewon Day is a right-handed pitcher for the Chicago White Sox. After attending [[Southern A&M; University]], the Toronto Blue Jays slected Day in the 26th round of the 2002 amateur draft. Day has always been considered a relief pitching prospect, and has yet to start a game in the major leagues or the minors. After a few seasons in Toronto as a minor league pitching prospect, the White Sox drafted Day in the 2005 rule 5 draft. Day made his major league debut for the White sox on May 28, 2007. In his debut outing, Day pitched on inning, surrendering 2 earned runs on four hits.
