Sue Selzer, an employee for the school district in Vivki Myron's hometown of Spencer, Iowa, found a tabby kitten, nearly frozen and covered in ice chunks, on December 16, 2008. Selzer cleaned up the kitten and brought her to the Spencer Public Library, where Myron fell in love, naming the new library kitten Page.
