You'll start with 5 minutes on the clock - you'll need to reach the entrance to the Underworld before then or you'll die. Head immediately to where you finally killed Nightmare, and kill the two Nobodies that await you.
Don't bother fighting the Frosts - it wastes time and isn't a necessity, so continue moving and enter the golden elevator to reach the surface.
BOSS FIGHT: Mundus II
Kill the two Blades to break the seal on the door to the airplane hangar, and the floor will collapse, leaving you in the waterways. Mundus will reappear, and a special guest will bestow power to you to use against him.
This time around, Mundus is almost a pushover - follow your menu's directions and blast away with your handguns until the DT gauge is filled, then trigger DT mode and keep firing.
When Mundus falls this time, it's time to get out of there.
Escape
All that's left is to get out of the area - Dante will take control of the plane, and your last act is to keep from crashing as you make your way out. Avoid the rocks to keep from taking damage, and keep moving until you clear the tunnel.
Congratulations! You've just completed Devil May Cry!
Secret Missions
Listed below are the available secret missions, how to get to them, and how to complete them. Each mission is timed in some form or fashion(for example, in one you are underwater, which slowly saps your health).
I. Critical Hit
This mission is available after defeating Phantom in mission 3 - to get to it, head to the underwater area where you fought the Sargassos.
To complete the mission, you need to kill the Sin Scissor with one critical hit, and your HP is depleting due to being underwater.
To do this, hit the scissors to throw them back behind the enemy, then take out your Shotgun and blast it in the mask from close range - the gun should be sticking through the enemy's face.
For completing this mission, you'll earn a blue orb fragment.
This mission is available at the start of mission 4 - to get to it, enter the cathedral doors as you begin mission 4.
You'll want to equip the handguns here - the object is to shoot 100 spider-like monsters as fast as possible.
Start by shooting the first swarm near you, and move around as much as you can - stepping on them also kills them. Walk to the second swarm, repeat the process, and check by the altar in the front of the room to find even more. You should easily kill 100 by this point within the time limit.
For completing this mission, you'll earn a blue orb fragment.
This mission is available after you complete Phantom Baby - to get to it, head to the study room at the end of the hallway.
You'll have to do the same thing as the Phantom Baby mission, only with no weapons - you'll need to run around to squash them to death. It's easy enough if you use DT mode, and the small size of the room works in your favor.
For completing this mission, you'll earn a blue orb fragment.
This mission is available after defeating the Shadow in mission 4 - to get to it, go to the basement arena from mission 1.
You'll need to fight three Shadows - avoid cornering them and shooting, as you'll target all of them. It's best to single one out.
After you pick one to start with, lead them out of the pack and use the Shotgun to blast it as quickly and rapidly as you can before it reaches you. While dodging, avoid running into the other two, and when you see the core become exposed, activate DT mode and slash away. Repeat the process for the remaining two, and you'll succeed.
For completing this mission, you'll earn a blue orb fragment.
This mission is available before starting mission 8 - to get to it, during the intermission, go to the room with the first encounter with Beelzebubs.
To complete this mission, you'll need to let the two Kyklops fight each other - there's a pipe that sticks out just enough to use as a ledge, so head there and jump onto it.
When the Kyklops can't find you, they'll fight it out, and the first to die will drop your prize - just kill the other one and claim it.
For completing this mission, you'll earn a blue orb fragment.
VI. Wandering Ghosts
This mission is available at the start of mission 11 - to get to it, just head back through the doors at the start of mission 11.
You'll need to use the enemies as platforms to help boost you high enough to reach the blue orb fragment floating in the air.
To do this, jump off the mask of the Sin Scissors - whack it first to avoid being sliced as you attempt the jump, then push off it's mask to get enough air to reach the fragment. Keep moving and you won't have to worry about the ghosts.
For completing this mission, you'll earn a blue orb fragment.
VII. Water Cell
This mission is available before mission 14 - to get to it, enter the ship and go to the captain's quarters, then examine the skeleton in the chair.
Swim and use the Needle Gun to blast the Blades - pepper them as a group to dole out the damage equally, and you'll be fine. If you fail, reset and start again.
For completing this mission, you'll earn a blue orb fragment.
VIII. Treasure of the Reaper
This mission is available during mission 15 - to get to it, return to the narrow hall where spikes shoot out of the floor and examine the painting.
When you examine the painting, Shadows will appear - use your Shotgun or Grenade Gun, and try to trap them on the spikes for increased damage. Defeat the first Shadow as fast as possible before the other two have a chance to attack, and you'll be fine - remember to avoid the spikes.
For completing this mission, you'll earn a blue orb fragment.
IX. Stairway to Tranquility
This mission is available at the start of mission 16 - to get to it, head back to the coliseum.
There's a group of Sargassos that will act as a stairway for you to reach the blue orb fragment floating in the air.
To get to the fragment, you need to hop from head to head without falling - hold R1 to keep the camera focused on the stairs, and use your shadow to gauge where you'll land.
For completing this mission, you'll earn a blue orb fragment.
X. Shadows in the Darkness
This mission is available after Nightmare in mission 16 - to get to it, head to the airplane hangar.
You'll need to find and kill four Shadows trying to hide from you.
There are two Shadows on the wings of the plane, one hiding in the main hall to the left, and the last one in the cage area leading outside. The last Shadow you kill will net you your prize.
For completing this mission, you'll earn a blue orb fragment.
This mission is available at the beginning of mission 17 - to get to it, head back to the Path of Trials and jump across the bridge without falling into the water below.
You have to use the Death Scythe's whirlwind attack to launch yourself up into the air - don't let him swipe you, because falling into the water instantly fails the mission.
When you launch into the air, go into DT mode and use an Air Raid to get an idea of where the orb fragment is - when you see it, get out of the Air Raid and use an Air Hike to get it.
You can't do this mission more than once, so if you fail, you'll need to reset to try it again.
For completing this mission, you'll earn a blue orb fragment.

XII. Hidden Bangle
This mission is available at the start of mission 21 - to get to it, head to the secret corridor opposite of the second Statue of Time, and press X to activate the mission.
Head up the path and kill the Nobodies that you encounter - in the next area, an orb fountain will net you some red orbs. Jump from ledge to ledge to reach the top, and fight the dragon; just charge it and attack it with the Devil Arms.
When the dragon falls, two Frosts will appear to attack you - equip the Ifrit Gauntlets and defeat them, then jump on the platform that materializes to get tot he next level. From there, you can retrieve the Bangle of Time.
For completing this mission, you'll earn a blue orb fragment and the Bangle of Time.
Item List
This is a list of items that you either find or purchase from the Statue of Time, their price(if bought), and a short description of what they do. All prices listed are for Normal difficulty.
Blue Orb: There's only seven of them available from the Statue of Time, spread across Normal, Hard, and Dante Must Die! modes. They start at 300 red orbs.
Devil Star: Refills 5 slots of your Devil Trigger gauge, you can find these in certain locations and also purchase them beginning at 550 red orbs.
Holy Water: Starts at 700 red orbs, these are extremely useful in boss fights, as they can take off as much as half of their HP(depending on the boss), though some are immune to it's effects. Your best bet is to save them back and only use them during the tougher boss fights.
Purple Orb: You can only find these at the Statue of Time, and they start at 440 red orbs. They add to your maximum total for the Devil Trigger gauge, making them invaluable for your continued well being - like the blue orbs, you can only purchase seven total from Normal, Hard, and Dante Must Die! modes.
Untouchable: Grants temporary invincibility and instantly places you in Devil Trigger mode - it's sort of an in-game cheat. They can be found throughout the game, and purchased for 1000 red orbs.
Vital Star: You can only carry one of these at a time, and they cost 480 red orbs. What they do is replenish your HP to full, regardless of how low it is when used. They save your yellow orbs for emergency situations, and are extremely handy in boss fights.
Yellow Orb: Works like a life-up - if you die, you can use the yellow orb to start from the last doorway you entered, making them quite useful against difficult bosses that have a lot of difficult enemies leading up to them. They start at 350 red orbs, and you can collect them in-game as well.
Enemy List
This is a list of the enemies you encounter in-game, and a short description on how to best beat them. All instances and tactics are for Normal difficulty.
Beelzebub: First seen in mission 6, they excrete a brown substance on you. A single swipe of the Alastor can kill them, but beware of Beelzebubs dropping from the ceiling.
Blade: First seen in mission 9, they tend to group in threes - defeat them by using Stinger to destroy their shields, and using Air Raid or the handguns to finish them off.
Bloody Mari: First seen in mission 1, just chop them into pieces using your preferred Devil Arms combo.
Death Scissor: First seen in mission 6, hit him when he starts his attack animation to throw off his hit, then slash his mask to deal damage.
Death Scythe: First seen in mission 11, they throw whirlwinds at you and attempt to seal you in an orb, which they slash - as you are lifted by the whirlwind, trigger DT mode and down slash to cause damage, or use Air Raid.
Fetish: First seen in mission 9, use the Grenade Gun to put two in it's gut, or use a Round Trip and then follow up with a blast from the Grenade Gun.
Frost: First seen in mission 17, they're ice elemental versions of Blades, and can be easily dealt with by equipping the Ifrit Gauntlets and using Inferno.
Kyklops: First seen in mission 10, they're small versions of Phantom, and are defeated the same way - hit them in the exposed section of their backs to drop them quickly.
Marionette: First seen in mission 1, they're the cannon fodder of Devil May Cry - just use your preferred Devil Arms combo to take them out.
Nobody: First seen in mission 19, there are two versions - small Nobodies and big Nobodies. The small ones aren't that difficult, just use the Grenade Gun; however, the big Nobodies require more planning - use Round Trip and Stinger, or the Ifrit Gauntlet's Inferno attack.
Plasma: First seen in mission 16, they're extremely annoying - and extremely dominated by the Ifrit Gauntlets. Equip them and use Inferno to devastate them, especially with the Devil Trigger activated.
Sargasso: First seen in mission 3, they're floating skulls that can be taken care off with basic attacks - use the Stinger and follow up with a Shotgun blast to end it quickly.
Shadow: First seen in mission 4, shoot them as quickly and often as possible before it attacks, then dodge and until the core is exposed - slash it with your highest level attacks, and finish it off by repeating the process. Avoid it's final counterattack, and you're clear.
Sin Scissor: First seen in mission 2, get out the Shotgun and pump shell after shell into their masks to incapacitate them easily. Avoid being surrounded when there are groups of them, and you'll be fine.
Sin Scythe: First seen in mission 4, you use the same tactics as you do against the Sin Scissor - just note that they do more damage and are more dangerous in close range combat. When they die, avoid the boomerang scythe counterattack - it's a doozy.
