Racking up combos to take down enemies is a primary combat element in Devil May Cry 4.Capcom.com: Devil May Cry 4 Product Features (PS3) Chain together as many attacks as possible before taking a hit. The larger the combo chain, the more red orbs and proud souls received.
A new addition to the combo system is Devil Bringer, Nero's demonic arm, which doubles as a weapon. Devil Bringer can pull distant enemies to Nero and allow him to maintain his flurry of combos. Dante is now able to change weapons on the fly, thus opening up more options for creative combos. Legendary Dark Knight mode, exclusive to the PC version of Devil May Cry 4, causes more enemies to spawn onscreen at once and opens up possibilities for even greater combo chains.IGN: Capcom's Devil May Cry 4...for Windows Ships Today (July 8, 2008)
