Detroit Vacation

Detroit is known as the "motor city" and is the largest city in Michigan.

Detroit has lots to see and do while visiting. Music and art lovers can visit the Motown Historical museum and the Detroit Institute of Arts. The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village is one of Detroit's main attractions. Millions of people come every year to visit this museum of Ford's personal collection of historical objects, dating as far back as 1906. John F. Kennedy's limousine and the Rosa Parks bus are just two of the hundreds of items you will see. Greenfield Village consists of one hundred historical buildings that were moved from their original location and arranged in a village setting. The goal, to show how Americans lived and worked since the country was founded.

Comerica Park, Joe Louis Arena, Ford Field and the Palace of Auburn Hills is the perfect place sports fans can catch a game. Check out the Hockeytown Cafe downtown and see Wings memorabilia while grabbing a quick bite. The Michigan Sports Hall of Fame is a popular attraction among tourists.
