The Detroit Auto Show, officially named The North American International Auto Show or (NAIAS), is held every January at COBO Center in Detroit, Michigan. Automakers debut dozens of new models and Concept Cars at the Detroit Auto Show each year.

Moving The Show
On May 5, 2009, a leader of the Detroit Auto Show met with officials and discussed moving the event to Novi, Michigan. The event will continue to take place in Detroit until their contract expires with Cobo Center in 2010. Local officials report they think the venue will be moved out of state but a representive for the auto show claims moving out of state is not an option. Vendors have been coming to Michigan for years.
