    Desmond Tremaine Mason was born in Waxahachie, Texas, on October 11, 1977, and he went on to attend high school at Waxahachie. He continued his education at Oklahoma State University.   • Pro Career

    In his first season with the SuperSonics, Mason appeared in 78 games and averaged 5.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 19.5 minutes per game. In 2001, Mason won the NBA slam dunk contest. Mason was traded in 2003 with Gary Payton to the Milwaukee Bucks for Ray Allen, Ronald Murray, Kevin Ollie and a draft pick. Mason was traded again in 2002, to the New Orleans Hornets for Jamaal Magloire. In 2007, Mason returned to the Bucks as a free agent.
