    On December 23, 2008, DeShawn Stevenson ended his consecutive games started streak by volunteering to come off the bench for the Washington Wizards in their game against the Charlotte Bobcats. Stevenson had started 275 straight games, but felt that because he's struggling, he might be able to help the Wizards more by coming off the bench.
