• Football Career

  Following his college football career with th Michigan State Spartans, Mason was drafted 98th overall in the 1997 NFL draft by the Tennessee Titans. He made his NFL debut with the Titans that same year, playing in all 16 regular season games. Mason helped the team in 1999, when they fell to the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXIV. The following year, Mason was selected for his first Pro Bowl appearance, which he repeated in 2001, 2003 and 2004. In March of 2005, Mason signed as a free agent with the Baltimore Ravens. He had a standout season with the Ravens in 2006, becoming the first player in the franchise to record 100 receptions in a single season.
