Deron Williams

Spitfire 6-3 point guard Deron Michael Williams plays for the Utah Jazz in the NBA. Being groomed as the next John Stockton, he is living up to challenge as he is not only gifted with immense basketball IQ and ball handling skills, but is also packed with athleticism which his predecessor, Stockton lacks.

The heart of the offense of his team, his high-octane intensity in dishing out assists, providing the picks, drilling points inside and out of the paint and boosting the confidence of his teammates through his uncanny court leadership is helping his team’s solid campaign in the NBA for the past several years. Furthermore, this 3rd overall draft pick from Illinois is constantly giving defenders mismatches since he is quick, strong and smart on the court for his size in the point guard position. Williams is not only good in providing plays and giving the Jazz precious points, he is also a pesky defender and good in whipping out hustle and tough nut to crack defensive stance on his opponents on the floor.

Born on June 26, 1984 in Parkersburg, [[West Virginia], he is the son of Byron Williams and Denise Williams.http://people.famouswhy.com/deron_williams/ Williams whose nickname is D-Will was a standout in The Colony High School basketball line up.
