American actor Dermot Mulroney rose to fame playing the "Best Friend" in My Best Friend's Wedding. He starred as the romantic lead as well in The Wedding Date and The Family Stone. Mulroney is also a musician and has played the cello in Alants Morressette and Melissa Etheridge videos and tours.

Mulroney met ex-wife on the set of their film Survival Quest in 1987. They wed in 1990 and were married for seventeen years. They had a child named Clyde Mulroney. In 2007 the couple filed for divorce. Mulroney has since been romantically linked to Tharita Catulle and there are internet rumors that she is pregnant with his child. -
