NHL Career
Morris was drafted 13th overall in the 1996 NHL draft by the Calgary Flames. He joined the Flames American Hockey League affiliate, the Saint John Flames in 1996 before making his NHL debut with the Calgary Flames in 1997. Morris continued to play in Calgary through the 2001-02 season, then was traded to the Colorado Avalanche on October 1, 2002. He joined the Avalanche for just short of two seasons before he was sent to the Phoenix Coyotes on March 9, 2004.Timeline
