Derek Luke is an American film actor whose first major role was the title character in Antwone Fisher.
He plays the role of Sean "Diddy" Combs in the Notorious B.I.G. biopic Notorious, that premiered in U.S. theaters on January 16, 2009.
Career Highlights
Following Luke's success in Antwone Fisher, he was offered roles in the films Friday Night Lights and Lions for Lambs. He starred alongside Ryan Reynolds, Isla Fisher, Rachel Weisz and Elizabeth Banks in Definitely, Maybe. In 2008, Luke played a staff sergeant in Miracle at St. Anna and Sean 'Puffy' Combs in the biopic Notorious.
