Death of a Good Samaritan
In August 1994, Dennis Skillhorn, Allen Nicklasson and a 17-year-old were on a drug and burglary run when their car broke down on Interstate 70 east of Kansas City, Missouri. Richard Drummond, a technical support supervisor for AT&T driving a company car, stopped to help them. Allen Nicklasson, who admitted that he fired the gun, was sentenced to death. He has said that he had acted alone, and Skillicorn's life should be spared.
