Dennis Seidenberg is a German professional ice hockey player. He currently plays for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League.

Seidenberg was acquired at the 2010 NHL Trade Deadline from the Florida Panthers along with Matthew Bartkowski in exchange for Craig Weller, Byron Bita, and a 2010 second round draft choice.

Seidenberg was a free agent during the off-season and was invited to the Florida Panthers training camp. He played well enough to sign a one year, $2.25 million contract with the Panthers.

At the time of his being traded to Boston, Seidenberg played in 62 games for the Panthers and scored two goals and 21 assists.

Seidenberg completed his third season with the Carolina Hurricanes, and his second full season. Seidenberg played in 70 regular season games for the Hurricanes, scoring five goals and adding 25 assists. He also appeared in 16 playoff games, as the Hurricanes reached the Eastern Conference Finals, and scored a goal and added five assists during the post-season.

The previous season was one where Seidenberg played in just 47 games. He had been acquired on January 8, 2007 from the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for Kevyn Adams.

Seidenberg has played for the German National Team in the Winter Olympics in three separate tournaments during 2002, 2006, and 2010.

He was drafted in the 6th round by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2001. He spent his first few season bouncing back-and-forth between the Flyers and their minor league affiliate. On January 20, 2006, the Flyers traded Seidenberg to the Coyotes in exchange for Petr Nedved.
