Denis Beaudoin, a former boyfriend of Nadya Suleman, appeared on Good Morning America on February 23, 2009, to announce that he may be the father of Suleman's octuplets. He said that he provided two donations of sperm to her at home, and that she also brought him to a fertility clinic to donate.

Nadya Suleman, 33, gave birth to octuplets on January 26, 2009, at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Bellflower, near Los Angeles, California. Suleman, who divorced in January 2008, has refused to name the father of the babies. She has six older children. All 14 children were conceived by in vitro fertilization at the West Coast IVF Center. She listed the name "David Solomon" as the father on the birth certificates of the octuplets, as well as on the certificates for four of her older children.
