On December 16, 2009 Atlus announced it will hold a White Tendency Event, similar to the Black Tendency Event held at Halloween earlier that year. At White Tendency, Enemies are slightly weaker, and take more damage when hit. Also, special characters and events occur. Even though the main gameplay is single player, there is continuous online interaction. Players can leave messages for other players, when players die, they leave a bloodstain for all other players to see. Players can touch these bloodstains, and relive the last moments of the dying player. Also, players can regularly see ghost images of other players who have visited the same area. At later levels, players can summon or 'invade' each others' game, either helping or hurting each other.
