Actress Demi Moore started her career in entertainment posing nude for European photographers, then made her film debut in 1982 with Parasite. She has since appeared in numerous films, including St. Elmo's Fire, Indecent Proposal and Striptease. After the break-up of her marriage to actor Bruce Willis, Moore married the much younger teen idol Ashton Kutcher.
Moore was said to have helped save the life of a 48-year-old San Jose, California women by using Twitter. On April 3, 2009, Moore received a message stating "getting a knife, a big one that is sharp. Going to cut my arm down the whole arm so it doesn't waste time." At Moore's request some of her followers contacted the police department in San Jose who in turn sent someone to check on the woman who was found unharmed.
