Results from the 2008 Mississippi Primary were announced after polls closed at 7:00 pm CST on March 11, 2008. The vote allocates 33 Democratic delegates and 38 to the Republicans, though John McCain had already won the latter party's nomination. McCain and Barack Obama were the winners of the primary.
