"Prime Time"
Though Deion Sanders played both baseball and football professionally, he excelled in the NFL during his 14-year career. Sanders was one of the top pass defenders in the league. In addition to playing on defense, Sanders would often line up on offense as well. In 1996, Sanders became a starter on both sides of the ball while playing for the Dallas Cowboys. During his NFL career, Sanders put up 7,838 all-purpose yards and scored a total of 22 touchdowns, 19 of which were on defense. He was selected to eight Pro Bowls and was named the 1994 NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Sanders won a Super Bowl ring with the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XXIX.Pro-Football-Reference.com: Deion Sanders-
