  • Deerhoof is an experimental indie rock band from San Francisco that formed in 1994. Their members are all multi-instrumentalists who often switch roles from song to song. Their musical is similarly versatile and has been notoriously difficult to classify as whole, but generally favors heavy, energetic instrumentals over vocal parts, and uses complex rhythms, melodies, and harmonies in unconventional song structures.
