On 3:15 pm on February 23, 2010, a man walked on to the campus of Deer Creek Middle School in Littleton, Colorado, and opened fire on 2 students. The victims, 14-year-old Matt Thieu and 13-year-old Reagan Weber were expected to survive. Eastwood is alleged to have walked on to campus holding a high-powered rifle. According to witnesses, he asked the two young people if they were students at the school, and when they answered in the affirmative, he started shooting at them. According to the suspect's father, he hears voices and has long suffered from mental illness. Deer Creek school is located in the city of Littleton, on West Columbine Avenue. It is close to Columbine High School, the site of another infamous school shooting, this one perpetrated by students which claimed the lives of 12 victims.
