Deena Michelle Kastor is a long distance runner. She is an record holder for marathon, half-marathon, 10000 meter races. Kastor won the bronze medal in the 2004 women's marathon in Athens, Greece.
In 2006, Kastor was selected by Track and Field News magazine as the top women's marathoner.
On April 20, 2008, Kastor came in first place in the Women's Olympic Marathon Trials with a time of 2:29:35.
