Singer Deborah Gibson reportedly filed a restraining order in Superior Court against Spanish fan Jordi Bassas Puigdollers on April 15, 2008. Gibson asked that Puigdollers be ordered to stay 100 yards away from her, not attempt to contact her by phone or e-mail, and stop attending her concerts. Puigdollers showed up at Gibson's house on Sunday, April 13, 2008 prompting her to notify authorities. Puigdollers reportedly flies to the US constantly to see Gibson in concert. He has often tried to follow Gibson to her hotel. Puigdollers who runs a fan club for Gibson made this statement, "I wanted to use the fan club to help people who can't go see her to get autographs and photos.
