Death Wish is a 1974 film directed by Michael Winner. The film was based on the novel Death Wish by Brian Garfield. The film stars Charles Bronson as Paul Kersey, a man who becomes a vigilante after his wife is murdered and his daughter is raped. It was then followed by Death Wish II (1982), Death Wish III (1985), The Crackdown (1987) and The Face of Death (1994).
