Day hikes that are rated easy include Golden Canyon Interpretive Trail, Natural Bridge Canyon, Badwater Salt Flat, Salt Creek Interpretive Trail and Titus Canyon Narrows.
Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes is rated easy to moderate.
Hikes that are rated moderate are Little Hebe Crater Trail, Mosaic Canyon, Desolation Canyon and Gower Gulch Loop.

Backcountry Hiking
Back-country hiking and overnight hiking trips are allowed throughout the park. Permits are required by the national park but are free. Permits can be obtained at the Furnace Creek Visitor Center or Stovepipe Wells Ranger Station.
