Narrow Stairs is Death Cab for Cutie's sixth studio album and second album to be released through Atlantic Records. It was released in the United States on May 13, 2008 and debuted at number four on the Billboard charts.
Narrow Stairs is the first Death Cab for Cutie album to reach the number one position on the Billboard charts. It was also nominated one of the Best Alternative Album's at the 2009 Grammys.
