Russo played the Stanford University PHD Sarah Graiman. playing an ex-army Ranger that was hired to drive the new KITT car. She not only stars in this movie, but she guest starred on How I met Your Mother. She was released from her contract with The Young and the Restless and this allowed her to make these movies and try her hand at directing. She directed a Mocumentary called A Taste of Kream. This was the story of three cats that have to learn to read and write. This won an award in the film festival in New Orleans.

In 2007 she had a major recurring role as Dr. Logan Armstrong on the daytime soap opera, The Young and the Restless.

Most recently she has been seen in White Collar and Gossip Girl.

Deanna Russo has appeared in commercials for Ford, Disney and Axe Body Spray. In addition to her acting, Russo has an interest in film directing.
