  • Country music singer-songwriter Deana Carter broke through in 1996 with her debut album Did I Shave My Legs for This?. This album produced three number one hits for her, "Strawberry Wine," "We Danced Anyway" and "How Do I Get There". Since then she has released five albums, has eleven singles and one "Greatest Hits" album. One of Carter's trademarks is going barefoot on stage.
