Gary Michael Hilton, who confessed to murdering hitchhiker Meredith Emerson in February, apparently helped to produce the 1995 straight-to-video serial killer film Deadly Run. The film's producer, Samuel Rael, had previously served as Hilton's lawyer, and said that he knew Hilton was crazy but did not think he would ever turn violent. The film concerns a wealthy Atlanta realtor whose secret hobby included kidnapping women and hunting them down in the woods for sport. Hilton is also suspected in the murders of Cheryl Dunlap and couple John And Irene Bryant.
