This is a full text walkthrough for the PS2 version of the 2002 third-person shooter Dead to Rights. Below the main walkthrough are links to other walkthroughs, FAQs and videos. Use the table of contents to jump to a particular section.
In Dead to Rights, Jack Slate is a Grant City police officer who responds to a distress call involving a shooting. At the crime scene, Jack becomes embroiled in a cover-up and is eventually framed for the murder of his father. Seven months later, Jack escapes from prison and sets out to find his father's true killer.

Introduction and Gameplay Tips
- GameAnyone: 01 Opening FMV and Training Mode (Time: 9:06)
- Important items related to the progression of the story are outlined in a yellow box. Always pick up these items immediately.
- The white med-kit heals Jack up completely. The smaller red health kit returns about 25% of Jack's health. Look for health and armor in side rooms and dead ends in the levels.
- Use Shadow, the dog, to retrieve weapons when low on ammo. Shadow leaps on the attacker and rips the weapon out of their hand. Shadow is available in the levels with the picture of a dog in the corner of the screen.
- Use the blocking function in melee fights to avoid taking damage. Allow an enemy combatant to unleash their combo attack during block. Jack has more time to respond with a combo of his own after the failed attack.
- Grab explosive canisters and throw them at enemy mobs. The speed of the game slows down slightly and Jack has time to line up a shot on the canister. A well-placed shot can destroy multiple enemies in a snap.
- Use the cover of corners and slow-motion mode to avoid taking damage from enemy gunfire. Dive out from a corner in slow-motion mode to shoot groups of attackers.
- Taking human shields offers Jack protection from gunfire and a fresh weapon. Try to keep a wall or corner to the rear of Jack to avoid taking damage. Moving with a human shield is slow, but the benefit is complete frontal damage protection.
- The auto-targeting system uses four colors to designate the percentage of a successful shot. Red means the target is in Jack's sights, yellow means Jack might hit the target and green means that the target is out of range. Blue means the target is dead.
- Cycle through attackers the moment that they turn blue. Jack can also use manual aim to target portions of the body.
- Adrenaline replenishes quickly, but keep any eye on the meter. It's expended during hand-to-hand attacks and when using the slow-motion mode.

Last Call
- GameAnyone: 02 Hildys Dance (Time: 9:17)
- CUTSCENE: The scene opens from the perspective of Shadow, Jack Slate's dog. Shadow is locked in the car outside the public library and barking at men in a shootout. Jack is perusing books inside the library while armed men place explosives around the main lobby. Shadow escapes from the car and crashes through a basement window to attack one of the armed robbers. Jack is upstairs creating a bomb out of a fire extinguisher. He uses it to blow two of the armed men out of the building. A firefight ensues between Jack and the remainder of the villains. Jack runs through the library and eventually has to fight the leader of the thugs for the detonator switch. After a prolonged battle, Jack disarms the bomb with less than a second to spare.
- CUTSCENE: A lone police squad car is seen patrolling the streets. It's Jack Slade's car and he has Shadow with him. Jack gets a call to check out a shots fired call at the nearby construction site.
- The opening level is a tutorial. LS moves Jack Slade, RS controls the camera, R1 centers the camera and also targets enemies. Use R1 to target the first construction worker that runs toward Jack. Use Shadow to attack the enemy by pressing X.
- Walk forward and look for another construction worker on the upper level. Shoot him with the .45 pistol. Take a right and move under the fallen piping. A worker approaches Jack from behind and orders him to drop the weapon.
- The disarm prompt pops up. When Jack is unarmed, he can disarm an enemy by pressing Circle. Pressing it again enters a slow motion mode and the camera angles can be altered by pressing Square. Jack takes the enemy weapon when performing a disarm.
- Move forward to be prompted about the dive function. Jack can dive by tapping Triangle or perform a slow-motion dive by holding Triangle. Combine that with R1 to target and X to shoot the construction workers in the vicinity. Pressing Triangle again cuts Jack out of slow-motion.
- Approach the teal shipping crate to be prompted about cover mode. Click Circle near a wall to enter cover. Use LS to move left and right along the wall. Use R1 to pop out of cover and fire at the nearby construction workers.
- Move toward the four workers to the left. Follow the prompt about the canister. Target any enemy with R1 and press X to throw the canister. Press R1 again to target the canister and shoot.
- Press R2 to enter manual targeting mode. Move LS to highlight the propane tank on the left. Press X to shoot it and a new path is created across the pit. Backtrack around the teal crate and walk up the collapsed crane.
- Move toward the orange truck on the left. The game shifts into a lock picking mini-game. Press X to stop each tumbler as the pin reaches the correct zone. The truck rolls forward and blows a hole in the wall.
- Walk through the blown out section and down the path. When Jack is armed and neat an enemy, the human shield option is offered. Press Circle to grab the construction guard. Use him as a meat shield and shoot the remaining workers in the area.
- Approach the burning pipes and the control moves to Shadow. Control Shadow's movements with LS and move him through the large pipe. Use him to climb the hill and roll a barrel to lower a section of the scaffolding.
- Climb up the ramp and look inside the nearby trailer behind Jack for ammo, armor, health and weapons. Jack also needs to pick up the Gate Key inside the trailer. Approach the locked gate and use the key to enter.
- Press L1 to crouch and hide behind the sandbags for cover. Move down the passage using slow motion and disarms to kill several construction workers.
- CUTSCENE: Jack shoots the last construction worker in the back as he tries to escape. Shadow runs off into another section of the yard and Jack follows.

The Den of Iniquity
- GameAnyone: 03 The Den of Iniquity (Time: 8:47)
- CUTSCENE: Jack finds his father dying on the ground. The cops show up and the senior detective tells Jack to go home. The detective mentions that Jack's father had one enemy, Harvey Blatz. Jack leaves to find Blatz and seek revenge for the death of Jack's dad. The scene shifts to Jack and Shadow walking around the Den of Iniquity, a strip joint owned by Blatz. Jack enters the rear entrance and speaks with a stripper named Hildy to find Blatz. She offers to distract the bouncers so Jack can slip by unnoticed.
- The stripper's distraction dance is actually a timed button press mini-game broken into three sections. Just press the correct button when it passes the middle box. The first sequence is X, Triangle, Circle, Square, X, Triangle, Circle, X, Square, Circle, Triangle.
- Jack makes a move past the first bouncer after the first dance. The second sequence is X, Circle, Triangle, X, Square, Circle, Triangle, X, Circle, Square, X, Triangle, Circle, Square, Triangle.
- The third sequence is a bit faster. It's X, Circle, Triangle, Square, Circle, X, Square, Circle, X, Square, Triangle, Circle, Square, X, Square, Triangle, Circle, Square, Triangle, X.
- Move Jack up the stairs on his left. After Jack looks over the balcony, move to the left and look for a bank of payphones. There is a fire alarm to the left of the payphones. Pull it to clear the dance floor.
- Hildy is taken hostage by a thug. Run to the dance floor and she runs free. Several thugs surround Jack and a fight sequence begins. Press X to punch, Square to kick, Circle to throw and R1 to dodge.
- TIP: The guards attack one at a time despite surrounding Jack. Use the R1 to block any punch sequence and counter with a series of punches. Hitting X,X,X is a decent combo to knock down enemies.
- After knocking out several flunkies, a tough character named Boris enters the dance floor. Use the same strategy to dodge his punches and counter with combos.
- Jack collects a gun off Boris and three armed bodyguards stream out of an elevator. Use slow-motion jumps to defeat them. Pick up the ammo and move up the stairs again.
- Kill the six men on the upstairs platform. Use slow-motion and human shields along the walkway. Use the elevated position to fire on the guards that enter onto the dance floor level.
- Continue killing men until two Supervisors appear behind a bar. Use pistols at a distance or the shotgun up close to kill both men. Grab the armor and canister behind the bar. Dimitri runs out onto the stage with a shotgun.
- Look for Dimitri to the right of the bar and toss the canister in his direction. Shoot it to reduce his life bar significantly. Charge his position and use the shotgun in a slow-motion dive to end the fight quickly.
- Pick up Dimitri's shotgun and the Elevator Pass Card. Use the elevator to the left of the door Dimitri emerged from. There is a health pack next to the elevator if needed.
- Grab the hetman at the top of the stairs to use as a human shield and move Jack down the hall. Collect the M629 from a dead hetman and switch to the machine gun on the D-Pad. Continue shooting hit men in the hall and look for an exit on the left.
- CUTSCENE: Jack walks into Blatz's poker game. Blatz mocks Jack's financial status and Jack wants to know Blatz had his father killed.
- After Blatz makes an exit, use the slow-motion dive on the four hit men in the room. Grab the AKM assault rifle and follow Blatz through the door.
- Use the cover objects around the strip club to shoot the scattered hit men. They continue to spawn around the room from the blue-lit doorways. Use human shield if Jack is low on health.
- Hit the Exit Door switch behind the bar and run to the door before it locks again. Chase Blatz down the street and remember to use Shadow occasionally for instant kills.
- Move between the cars for cover from the thugs. Look out for event staff and thugs spawning behind Jack periodically. Continue down the street and beware of the thugs spawning on top of trucks and awnings.
- Follow Blatz into an alley on the left. Blatz calls for support and three more thugs show up. Use a slow-motion dive to kill the men. Follow him into a large skyscraper.
- Grab the canister on the right and toss it into group of lieutenants on the left. Shoot anyone left standing with the shotgun or machine gun. Hit the Elevator Access switch behind the welcome desk and hop in the elevator.
- CUTSCENE: Jack walks into a dark office and finds Blatz tied up. Suddenly a man with purple hair, an eye patch and a golden Luger shoots Jack. The mysterious man takes Jack's gun and shoots Blatz. He plants the Luger on Blatz and calls his employer about Jack. The employer wants Jack left alive. The mysterious man tells Jack that Augie Blatz didn't kill Jack's father right before Jack passes out.

Iron Point
- GameAnyone: 04 Iron Point (Time: 8:09)
- CUTSCENE: Seven months later, Slate is sitting on Death Row awaiting execution for the murder of Augie Blatz and his henchmen. The mayor made sure that Jack was the first patron of the "Fast Track" execution program. Jack's execution is scheduled for tomorrow and isn't expected to be postponed.
- Move out into the prison floor. Start fighting convicts and lifers in the center of the open area. Look inside jail cells for health packs in case Jack is low on health after the brawl.
- TIP: Lifers are the men in white shirts. Focus on them first. They have more health and complex fighting moves.
- Move past the staircase and fight more groups of prisoners. Pick up Access Card A after the fight and move to the gate at the end of the room. Use the access card to leave this section of the prison.
- Move through the second gate and the double doors on the left. Fight the two convicts near the supply cages. Walk up the stairs and through another sliding gate. Hang a left down the long hall and fight the two convicts at the end of the passage.
- Move through the nearby double doors and through a second set to enter the Workshop. Fight the convicts and the lifers in the room. Pick up the key and speak to Wireboy in the rear room.
- CUTSCENE: Wireboy has a plan to melt conduits on the electric chair with battery acid. Wireboy tells Jack that he will need to worry about the straps though. Wireboy wants 25 packs of cigarettes in exchange for the battery acid. He tells Jack to win the packs by training in the gym.
- Fight the three prisoners in the Workshop and pick up the cigarette packs they drop. If needed, grab the nearby health. Leave the workshop and move around the hallway until reaching the gym.
- Move over to the boxing ring and speak with Stinger. He shows Jack the throw breaker. Just press Circle when an enemy grabs Jack. Use combos to take down Stinger and use the throw breaker when he grabs you. He awards Jack a cigarette pack.
- Move over to the speed bag and alternate button presses to hit it correctly. It can be frustrating to keep a steady rhythm, but try to keep an eye on the clock and watch for the speed increases. Jack gets another pack.
- Approach the weight lifter in the corner of the gym and press Circle. The key to lifting the weight successfully is tapping X and raising the power bar to the center of the gauge. After all three weight classes are finished, Jack gets another cigarette pack.
- Leave the gym and fight Mad Dog in the hallway. He's a bit tougher than the lifers, but easily controlled with block counters. Mad Dog drops Access Card C. Pick it up and move into Cell Block C.
- TIP: There is a red health pack in the corner of Cell Block C. It's near the supply cages.
- Fight the small group of convicts and lifers before exploring the hallway. Continue through the metal sliding gate and look for another pack of prisoners in the corner.
- Fight the group and enter the nearby double doors. Continue through another sliding gate and the actual Cell Block C door. Jack is immediately attacked by a giant group of prisoners.
- Concentrate on one prisoner at a time during the melee battle. Each convict drops one pack of cigarettes and a lifer drops two packs when defeated. Move past the arm wrestling prisoner for the moment and fight the remaining prisoners at the end of the cellblock.
- Return to the arm wrestler and enter into the mini-game. It's setup exactly the same as the weight lifting challenge. Tap X to balance the power meter in the middle of the gauge.
- After receiving the last cigarette pack from the arm wrestler, return to Wireboy in the workshop. Jack trades the cigarettes for the battery acid. Wireboy mentions the Jack should see Tattoo in the showers about an escape attempt. Leave the workshop and Jack hears Shadow barking in the distance.
- CUTSCENE: A guard named Sickle inside the prison is mistreating Shadow. Jack approaches Sickle and demands that he leave the dog alone. Jack challenges Sickle to a fight.
- TIP: Sickle loves to stay in block quite a bit. Use throws to lower his health bar gradually. Try to follow up with a flurry of punches when he gets up.
- After the fight, Jack bids farewell to Shadow and leaves the room. Take a left into the sliding metal gate and the first left down a long hallway. Move through the sliding metal door and into the Showers entrance.
- CUTSCENE: Tattoo is telling a couple prisoners about an escape attempt he is planning to occur during Jack's execution. Jack demands to see Tattoo's map. The lifers attack Jack for asking.
- TIP: Try to knock down Tattoo and follow up with a combo on another lifer in the fight. The trick to surviving this fight is focusing on Tattoo, but not at the expense of Jack's health.
- TIP: There are med-kits in the corners of the room. Feel free to run around and find them during the fight.
- After Tattoo falls, Jack gains the Escape Map. Jack runs off and a guard approaches Tattoo. The guard is looking for Jack, specifically to hand him over to Sickle. Jack leaves and returns to his cell.
- CUTSCENE: Jack runs into Kip Waterman of KLY Action News. Kip wants an interview with Jack before the execution. Jack sees Sickle approaching and decides to take Kip up on the offer to avoid a confrontation.
- GameAnyone: 05 Iron Point (Time: 8:25)
- CUTSCENE: Jack is seen reviewing Tattoo's map in his cell. Jack memorizes the map escape route and burns the map. The scene changes and Jack is being strapped into the electric chair. The mayor, captain of the anti-crime unit and a number of Jack's friends are in attendance. Sickle straps Jack in and a religious prisoner delivers a final prayer. The prisoner also slips Jack a razor blade from the bible and splashes the acid (disguised as holy water) on the chair cables. The mayor orders the start of the execution and Sickle throws the switch. The power fluctuates and the entire prison goes dark. In the fracas, Jack cuts the straps and ties Sickle into the chair. Sickle is fried when the power comes back up. The mayor orders a lockdown.
Escape!
- Prison guards immediately attack Jack when control is returned. Fight off the guards with punch combos and head for the drainage pipe in the showers. Take a left into a single open door and pick up a 'Key between the two desks.
- Exit to the far end of the main room and go through the double doors. Take a left down the hallway and look for a sliding metal door on the right. Try to avoid the guards at this point.
- Move down the hallway on the left and through the sliding door into the showers. Hop into the hole in the floor and look at the radar that pops up in the corner. Follow the line for the correct path out of the sewers.
- After turning the first corner, use a disarm to take the pistol away from the convict. Continue along the marked path and shoot the packs of convicts along the route.
- Look for a small side room and climb the stairs to exit into a utility tunnel. Follow the route again and be careful not to fall into the first pit. Use the wooden board to walk across.
- The path becomes blocked after shooting the single convict. Take a left and look for a series of convicts along a lengthy passage. Use disarms and human shields to avoid losing life during the shootout.
- Continue along the marked path and look for a ledge at an upcoming pit. Hug the wall and slowly step along the side of the pit. Take a right and pass through a large, non-working fan.
- Kill the upcoming group of convicts and pick up the shotgun. Backtrack to a pit with two planks. Watch for a convict that pops out from the left side. He fires at close range with a shotgun.
- Continue along the winding tunnel path and use the shotgun to kill any convict in the way. Pass through two more stopped fans and Jack should rejoin the main escape route.
- Pass through a metal gate and immediately enter a slow motion jump. Try to kill as many convicts before landing. Use the shotgun to kill the remaining prisoners. Run to the main door and Jack has 30 seconds to complete a lock-picking task.
- CUTSCENE: Jack moves through the door and sees Tattoo on the opposite side. Jack locks the door and taunts Tattoo. Guards approach Tattoo and beat him down.
Black Orchid
- GameAnyone: 06 Black Orchid (Time: 9:06)
- CUTSCENE: Jack is seen escaping from the tunnel system into the wilderness. The prison escape alarm rings in the distance. Jack hears the barking of dogs approaching. Jack tries to stop a car along the nearby road, but Shadow has to push him to safety. The car runs into a tree and Jack removes the driver. Jack takes his wallet and cell phone. Jack takes off in the vehicle and heads into the city. The scene shifts to Jack returning to the scene of his alleged crime. Jack decides to hole up in this apartment and get a change of clothes. Jack makes a plan to visit Chinatown and load up on weaponry.
- After watching the cop get executed, perform a slow-motion jump and shoot the six gang members. Use a human shield if Jack is low on health. Grab the armor and shotgun at the end of the street before moving down the street.
- Look for another set of eight gang members to emerge from the alleys when passing the first car on the right. Use Shadow and slow motion jumps to kill them at close range. Try to use the shotgun. There is a white health kit on the sidewalk if Jack runs into health problems.
- After Fat Chow takes off up the stairs, use the cars or building for cover from the shooting gang members. Make sure to disarm the guy with the AK-47 early on and use it to fire on the men in the distance.
- After the cops disarm Slate, pick up the magnum and shoot at the three thugs on the stairs. Fat Chow exits into his club and Jack follow. Pick up the armor in the corner of the hallway and move along the stairwell.
- Move into the gambling room and grab a human shield. Move through the room firing on the hit men and thugs with the pistol. Speak with Fat Chow in the nearby cage and he calls in about 10 thugs for protection. Use slow-motion jumps to defeat all the men.
- Grab the Key to the Cashier's Cage and go speak to Fat Chow again. Jack's conversation is interrupted when the cops show up. Grab the health, armor and weapons in the cage before exiting again. One of the weapons is a sniper rifle.
- Jack exits to the stairs automatically. Switch back to the shotgun and move slowly down the alley. Look for thugs on the rooftops and on the street level. Use human shields and slow motion jumps to navigate the alley safely. Move to the gate at the end of the alley. Pick the lock and Jack exits to a cab.
- CUTSCENE: Jack is heading to a massage parlor called the Black Orchid. Jack enters and wants to know where Silt is. The massage parlor bouncer requests his weapon and Jack relents. Jack is shown to a waiting room. Jack doesn't feel like waiting.
- Fight the two bouncers in the hallway and feel free to use Shadow. Two more thugs appear as Jack turns the corner. Move into the center of the large room and Jack has to fight the man who took Jack's weapons. His name is Horse.
- Horse is a typical mini-boss. Use kick combos and block to defeat Horse. Don't worry about the two re-spawning thugs. After Jack beats down Horse, he runs off to find Silt.
- CUTSCENE': Jack finds Silt and demands to know why he tried to run Jack over back at the prison. Silt tells him that a guy named Gopher told him to do it. A female seeking revenge for the death of her brother shoots silt in the head. Eve is running around killing everyone involved with a company called Mayhem Inc. Jack asks her about the one-eyed man that set him up and she claims his name is Patch.
- Exit back out into the hall and immediately kill the two women in the passage. Follow the girl to the main room and a mini-boss named Lotus attacks. Stay on the move and simply unload with the pistols to kill her quickly.
- Grab the MP5 off Lotus and use the corners of the room for cover. Kill about ten more female guards and the exit opens. Fat Chow's men are waiting outside. Use the cover of the cars and slow-motion jumps to kill the men to the left of the door.
- Grab the AK-47 and start firing on the men along the street. Hit men appear along the alley and near the upcoming cars. The trick to moving Eve along the street is killing each pack of thugs. There are health packs in the alley if needed.
- GameAnyone: 07 Boss - Fat Chow (Time: 8:42)
- Keep your distance after Fat Chow appears. He is wielding a small rocket launcher. Try to stay on the opposite side of the street and fire long-range weapons into him. Avoid using slow-motion jumps as the recovery time leaves Jack open to rocket blasts.
- CUTSCENE: Eve and Jack part ways, but she's interested in more than gunplay. She gives him Eve's Card before leaving. Jack sets out to visit his father's grave.
A Late Goodbye
- GameAnyone: 08 A Late Goodbye (Time: 6:22)
- CUTSCENE: Jack and Shadow are standing in front of his father's grave. A stranger approaches from the rear and Jack pulls out his gun. It's Hildy, the stripper that knew his father. She tells Jack that his father was scrounging up dirt on the Mayor when he was killed. Suddenly a group of armed men storm the graveyard and fire on Jack. Jack tells Hildy to run before using a grenade to cover his exit.
- TIP: The helicopter gunfire is extremely dangerous on this level. Look for cover each time you hear it approaching.
- The helicopter drops off men in clown masks. Kill the nearby clown using a disarm and race up the hill. Try to fire on the second clown quickly and use a slow motion jump to kill the clowns the exit from the tombs. Use Shadow as frequently as possible as well.
- Pick up the health and armor on the upper level. Hit the switch on the upper level to the left of the cemetery gate. Fire on the clowns that enter Jack's section and move quickly through the gate.
- Move through the open passage and kill the clown that leaps off the bridge with a disarm. Fire on the clowns to the left and move up the ramp. Use slow motion jumps to kill the clowns in the area. Move to the opposite side of the bridge to pick up some armor and hit the switch to open the lower gate.
- Stay on the move as the helicopter is firing on Jack at the moment. Move through the gate and use disarms to avoid taking damage while shooting. Kill the clowns along the trench passage and move up the ramp on the left.
- Cross the bridge and hit yet another switch along the stone wall. A gate opens on the upper level on the opposite side of the bridge. Kill the four clowns in the way and run through it. Follow the passage and look for several clowns just ahead.
- Use the AK to fire on them at a distance and avoid getting close. The jokers like to disarm Jack when getting close. Move up the stone steps on the right side of the passage and kill the clown firing at the top of the stairs.
- GameAnyone: 09 A Late Goodbye (Time: 6:34)
- When Jack notices the gate leading into the catacombs opens up, avoid any remaining clowns outside and move directly through the gate. Use the shotgun and slow-motion jumps in the tight spaces to kill clowns quickly. Disarms also work well.
- Move through the arched hallway and kill every clown in sight. Look for a set of circular stairs that lead back out into the main courtyard. Quickly hang a left and run to the opposite side of the yard. Look for a hole to fall into. It leads back into the catacombs and Jack can pick up the Handle.
- Kill the jokers in the area and grab the health packs on the way out. Backtrack up the circular staircase again and use the Handle to open a skinny gate. Kill the clown that exits the passage and move into the narrow hallway.
- There are snipers along house at the end of the hallway. Stay on the move and use disarms on any clowns in Jack's path. Move to the opposite side and press the switch to open the main gate to the house. Drop down into the grassy area and enter the open gate.
- Jack moves up to the entrance area of the entire cemetery. Unfortunately a truck with a Gatling gun is waiting to shoot him. Use the cover of the gravestones and grab the armor on the right side of the courtyard.
- TIP: Look for canisters on the left and right sides of the graveyard. The trick to defeating the truck is throwing canisters at the gun and firing as they get close.
- Try to kill the clowns as they exit the truck. After about six canister blasts, the entire truck should explode. Jack exits the cemetery. The head of the Mayor's tactical unit yells at Slate as he exits.
Mayhem Incorporated
- GameAnyone: 10 Mayhem Incorporated (Time: 7:54)
- CUTSCENE: Jack calls Eve and wants to know why Mayhem Inc. was attacking him in the graveyard. Eve doesn't know anything about it and tells him that the muscle for Mayhem Inc. is holed up at their headquarters. Eve tells him that Gloria Exner, the Mayor's political competition, has been targeted for a hit. The scene shifts to a newscast about the last scheduled debate at a nearby stadium. Jack runs behind the camera and hops in the nearby attack chopper. Jack flies to Mayhem Inc. and starts covering Eve's advance into the building.
- The control shifts to the chopper gun view. Simply move the target reticle to the right and fire on the goons that appear to shoot Eve. Keep and eye on Eve's health in the top left hand corner of the screen. Kill six men and another five after Eve advances.
- Eve interrogates a goon that tells her that he has been planting suitcase bombs in the bathrooms. The control switches to Eve and a bomb-defusing screen. LS moves the detonator pin and RS rotates the entire bomb. The bomb explodes if the pin comes in contact with the circuitry.
- TIP: This is very easy to accomplish. Be patient and slowly move the pin through the chamber. Time is extended as the pin moves through the tube.
- Control shifts back to Jack in the chopper after the bomb is successfully defused. Move the gun to the right and look for ten goons along the path. Even moves into another bathroom to defuse the second bomb.
- Eve moves upstairs and this pattern repeats for two more bombs. Try to kill the goons near Eve first. They do the most damage and Eve needs a good bit of health to make it to the end.
- CUTSCENE: Eve moves onto the roof and waves at Jack in the chopper. The purple haired Patch stabs Eve in the back and Jack orders the pilot to move around to the parking lot.
- Use the chopper gun to fire on the men just below Jack along the walkway. There is little chance of Jack taking any damage if you are quick with the turret. Shoot the men hiding behind the trucks and bikes after the chopper moves into the parking lot.
- Patch's purple limo tears out of the parking lot and Jack orders the pilot to follow. As the limo tears along the trench, target the doors, hood, trunk and tires to completely stop the vehicle. Jack also has to contend with two move limos that are moving along the trench.
- TIP: Be wary of the men wielding rocket launchers. They pop out of the sunroof and fire rockets at Jack. Immediately turn the turret onto their position when they appear.
- CUTSCENE: Patch's limo flips a few times and Jack hops off the chopper to chat with Patch. Patch is dead and cannot be interrogated. Jack takes Patch's Pager and set off to find Gloria Exner.
No Vacancy
- GameAnyone: 11 No Vacancy (Time: 9:09)
- Pick up the blueprints in the hall and move into the dining room. Look for GAC unit guards on the left and on the far end of the hall. Grab the MP5 ammo as the GAC guards drop it.
- Keep killing guards until one of them drops the Hotel Key. Look for the exit on the left side of the dining hall. There is a piece of body armor nearby if needed.
- The control switches to Shadow. Press L1 to activate Shadow's bomb sniffing mode. Watch the radar for little red dots that signify bombs. The first bomb is just through the door on the right near the vending machines.
- Control automatically switches back to Jack's bomb defusing mode. It's exactly the same as the previous level. Move through the hallway and exit through the double doors on the left.
- Jack faces off against more GAC unit guards in the large passage. Use the cover of the building supports to protect him and kill the guards in slow-motion mode. Keep killing men until one finally drops a second Hotel Key.
- Exit through the double doors on the far end of the hall. Control switches to Shadow again. Ignore the stairs and move to the end of the hallway to find a suitcase bomb.
- After Jack defuses the second bomb, move up the stairs into the room with the stage. Navigate towards the front of the room and try to avoid the fire of the GAC unit guards by crouching.
- Run around the stage killing men until one finally drops the third Hotel Key. Backtrack to the rear of the room and look for a second set of stairs leading to a balcony area.
- Use the key to unlock the single door and it's time for more bomb sniffing. Have Shadow take a left in the hall and move to the end of the passage. The suitcase bomb is on the left.
- GameAnyone: 12 No Vacancy (Time: 8:54)
- After Jack defuses the third suitcase bomb, run to the opposite end of the hall and hang a right. Continue along the linear passage until more guards jump Jack. Use slow-motion jumps and disarms to dispatch the entire group.
- Wait for a guy with an M4 at the end of the hall to appear and kill him for a fourth Hotel Key. Use the key on a single door on the right side of the hall. Shadow has to sniff out another bomb.
- Move Shadow to the left and circle around the pile of cardboard boxes. The suitcase bomb is hiding among the boxes. Have Jack defuse the final bomb for the level.
- CUTSCENE: The head of the GAC unit is seen outside wondering why the bombs haven't gone off. He gives an order for the GAC unit to swarm the building and kill any intruders inside the convention hall.
- Leave the small room and kill the two guards outside the door. Hang a right and move up the stairs. Jack is now in a portion of the building on fire. Keep an eye on the on-screen thermometer and get moving.
- TIP: Try to use disarms only in this section. It's much faster than shoot every guard.
- Move forward and take a left through the door. Look for two guards in the first room and two more guards in the adjoining bedroom on the right. Leave the bedroom through the far door and take a right down the stairs.
- Kill the four men in the long hall and grab the Fire Extinguisher at the end of the hall. Backtrack up the stairs and look for a fire on the left. Target the fire with R1 and extinguish it by pressing X.
- The woman just past the first fire gives Jack the key to the maintenance room. Continue putting out the fire and grab a fresh fire extinguisher in the maintenance room on the left.
- Take a left into the nearby passage and hang a right at the bottom of the stairs. Use slow-motion jumps to kill the three guards on the right and grab the fire extinguisher at the end of the hall.
- Backtrack and move along the opposite end of the passage. Kill the GAC unit guards with disarms and slow-motion jumps. Collect the Hotel Key from the cowering hotel employee.
- Move back up the stairs and hang a left into the single door. Move along the skinny room and kill the three guards waiting behind the tables. Continue through a second door and use the fire extinguisher to put out more fires.
- Pass through another single door and move along the hall killing GAC unit guards. Move into the main room again and kill the two GAC unit guards in the center of the room. Navigate the winding shelving units and pick up yet another Hotel Key from the crouching employee.
- Backtrack and grab another fire extinguisher from the maintenance room on the right. Walk back to the opposite side of the room and put out the fires near the Floor 4 sign.
- Exit into the control room on the left and activate the Fire Sprinklers. Return to the opposite side of the room and move through a passage on the right. Look for a large set of stairs that was previously blocked by fire.
- Jack is now on the top floor. Move into the first door on the left and use slow-motion jumps to kill the men in the room. Look for another hotel employee in the corner of the room. He gives Jack another Hotel Key. Open the nearby locked door to find Gloria Exner.
- Follow Gloria and look for a group of GAC unit guards in the center of the large room. Use slow-motion jumps and disarms to dispatch the men. Follow Gloria into the next room and cover her position again.
- Gloria and Jack eventually move onto the roof. There is a mini-boss with a flamethrower waiting on the heli-pad. Keep your distance and move around him in a circular motion to avoid the flames. Use the shotgun for close range attacks and the M4 for long range attacks.
- TIP: Avoid slow-motion jumps as Jack typically gets set on fire during the recovery time.
- CUTSCENE: Jack and Gloria make their way down a drainpipe on the side of the building. On the way down, Jack asks about his father's death. Gloria sent Jack's father to investigate some budgetary issues with the subway construction. Jack tells Gloria to hideout at his father's cabin in Cold Rock Creek.
A Boatload of Trouble
- GameAnyone: 13 A Boatload of Trouble (Time: 7:56)
- CUTSCENE: The pager notification was from Gopher, the guy that hired Silt to run over Jack at the prison. Gopher also brokered jobs for Patch. Jack meets Gopher on the docks and Gopher runs off after hearing about Silt's fate.
- Pick up the armor at the end of the dock and attempt to open the locked door. Four mercenaries attack Jack from the rear. Use disarms or slow motion jumps to kill them and pick up the Key.
- Use the crates for cover and fire on the mercenaries inside the first warehouse. Walk up the stairs and follow the perimeter of the walkway. Pick up the Keycard and use the nearby switch to open the second door. Be wary of the mercenaries that enter through the open door.
- Leave the first warehouse and Gopher takes off again. Run down the peer and look for mercenaries all along the dock. Use disarms and the cover of the nearby boats for safety.
- Open the door to the second warehouse by picking the lock. It's the same tumbler switch scenario. Move into the warehouse and use slow-motion jumps to kill the mercenaries that run towards Jack. Watch out for the men shooting from above as well.
- TIP: There is a much needed health kit under the stairs and some armor on a platform in the corner of the room.
- Move through the doorway under the stairs on the left. Look for mercenaries on the walkway and allow them to rush Jack. Move to the far end of the passage and pick the lock on the door of the third warehouse.
- Use the shotgun and a slow-motion jump to kill the mercenaries moving around the corner. Move around the room and fire on the mercenaries on the upper level. Look for a locked door and try to open it.
- Similar to the first warehouse, opening the door causes a group of mercenaries to spawn. Use disarms to finish off the group and unlock the door with the Key. Move back out on the docks and use the crate for cover.
- Try to kill the mercenaries with the grenade launchers first. Stay on the move and avoid slow-motion jumps. Hang a right and move along the dock. Shoot the mercenaries along the path and pick up the Wire Cutters.
- Backtrack a bit and look for a place to use the Wire Cutters. Disable the alarm and move along the docks to find the entrance to the warehouse housing tanks. Use the tanks as cover while moving through the room shooting mercenaries. Pick up the Key and leave through the locked door.
- GameAnyone: 14 A Boatload of Trouble (Time: 8:43)
- A chopper appears in the yard and starts dropping off clowns. After the chopper flies off, use disarms and slow-motion jumps to kill all the clowns. Jack can also find a good cover position and shoot from cover.
- The chopper reappears and fires on Jack exclusively. Look for rocket launchers strewn about the area and target the chopper with rockets. There is a health pack and some armor underneath the chopper's position.
- Activate the nearby forklift to make a hole in the icehouse. Use the crates for cover and use disarms to kill the enemies meandering around the first room. Pick up the Key and use it to unlock the box on the wall.
- Kill the men that spawn and move up the stairs. Exit though the doorway and use the elevated position to fire on the guards below. Move towards the docks and try to kill every guard except for one.
- Grab the last guard as a human shield and drag him to the giant scale near the locked door. The extra weight on the scale opens the door. If you happen to kill all the guards accidentally, they continue to respawn.
- Move through the next room and kill the guards with disarms. Pick up the Key and move into the corner to find some armor. Use the Thermostat in the corner and kill the guards that spawn into the room.
- Walk up the stairs and onto the second floor. Move through the open door and look for guards around the corner to the left. Use a slow-motion jump to kill them quickly. Move through the doorway to exit.
- Follow the walkway and look for a series of guards waiting for Jack. The final guard drops a Key. Use the Key on the locked door at the end of the passage.
- CUTSCENE: Jack walks into a room with large hanging slabs of ice. Gopher is strapped to one of the blocks and he's dead. A laughing enemy approaches Jack from the rear.
- The mini-boss fight with Longshoreman X is very annoying. Hide behind one of the ice blocks and use a slow-motion jump every time he goes into a reload animation. There is a M60 and an automatic shotgun that continues to respawn in the room.
- TIP: Try to avoid grabbing the health on the upper walkway. Guard spawn as Jack walks up and the longshoreman has clean shots at Jack.
- Continue pumping shotgun rounds into the longshoreman at close range. When his health falls low enough, the longshoreman runs into the next room.
- CUTSCENE: Jack is seen badly hurt and limping away from Gopher's dead body. He moves back out to the dock and is found by Hildy. Hildy is seen patching Jack up in a nearby dive bar. After Jack wakes up, a couple security guards and the heavyweight champ enter the bar. He tries to forcefully take Hildy away and Jack enters the room only to be punched out by the champ. The scene shifts to Jack waking up to an interrogation scenario. Jack is chained upside down over a pit of water.
- The key to surviving the water torture is alternate button presses to hold Jack's breath. Move the controller to a flat surface and use two fingers to do this successfully.
- After surviving three rounds, the guards are called away and Shadow appears to help release Jack. Move through the warehouses and several dock workers come out to fight him. Use Shadow and punch combos to dispatch all the men. Grab the Key from the last man.
- Leave through the door on the opposite end of the room. Use disarm on the first dockworker with a pistol. Move around the room and grab the armor / health on the platform. Use the guns to kill the unarmed dockworkers and exit through the door on the far end of the room.
- Disarm the first dockworker with his back to Jack and wait for the clowns to spawn. Use disarms and slow-motion jumps to kill all the men. Collect the ammo and the Key before moving through the single wooden door.
- Clear the area with the M4 and beware of snipers on the boat. Pick the lock on the door and move back into the second warehouse. Use the elevated position to fire on the guards or hide behind the crates for cover. Pick up another Key after killing the men in the area.
- Exit through the double doors and look for some armor at the top of the staircase. Kill the remaining docks workers with disarms. Move around the walkway and find a switch to flip. This opens the large doors on the lower floor.
- Hildy is seen being taken away in a limo. Assassins and clowns appear as the limo takes off. Use slow-motion jumps to kill the men quickly and pick up the Keycard.
- Use it to open the metal gate. Walk along the dock and look for another group of assassins behind the upcoming trucks. Use disarms and slow-motion jumps to kill every man.
- CUTSCENE: A truck starts up and drives directly at Jack. Jack fires rounds from his pistol into the cab of the truck. The driver slumps over and the truck topples as Jack leaps out of the way. Gold bars spill out of the truck in front of Jack. Another truck drives past and Jack leaps inside to hitch a ride.
A Billion in Bullion
- GameAnyone: 15 A Billion in Bullion (Time: 8:43)
- Walk to the right and start firing on the security guards. Move up the staircase and kill the men up top with a slow-motion jump. Follow the walkway and pick the lock to enter the smelting plant.
- Move along the first passage in the smelting plant and fire on the security guards from a distance. Move in between the crates and use disarms on the guards ahead. Pick up the health kit at the end of the hall and exit through the gray double doors.
- Jack walks into a large room and sees giant smelting pots churning liquid gold. Move to the left and stay crouched for cover. Take the stairs to the lower level. Use human shields and disarms to kill the men on the bottom floor.
- Look for firing positions on the turrets up above. After disabling the turret, move up the central staircase and pick up the Access Card. Hit the nearby switch to unlock the door.
- Move back upstairs and crouch again. Kill the men on the opposite side of the platform and exit through the gray double doors. Circle the next platform and move to the bottom level.
- Fire on the turret and grab the armor on the opposite side of the room. Kill any remaining guards and flip the switch. Exit through the unlocked doorway. Turn the corner and immediately hit a slow-motion jump to kill the surrounding security guards.
- Grab the armor on the left side of the hallway and exit through the gray double doors. Use the crates as cover and kill the two men on the left. Continue left and use slow-motion jumps to kill the series of guards.
- As Jack moves down the staircase, prisoners in orange jumpsuits appear. Use the nearby canister to blow up the first group and use slow-motion jumps on the remainder. Eventually Tattoo appears with a couple of goons.
- Be careful as Tattoo carries a lethal M60. Wait for the prisoners to run around the corner of the crate and stay away from Tattoo for the moment. Kill Tattoo's minions first and approach him with slow-motion jumps. Use the M4 if there's enough ammo to finish him off.
- Pick up the Key off Tattoo and exit through the nearby gate into the tunnels. Move to the right to kill the first security guard. Pass through the two fans and use the explosive barrels to kill the upcoming convicts.
- Follow the winding tunnel and perform disarms on the men littering the area. Be careful of the guard with the flamethrower. Shadow works great for killing him and collecting the flame gun. The flame gun is excellent for near instant kills.
- CUTSCENE: Jack exits the tunnels at the same construction site from the start of the game. Jack figures out that the Mayor diverted funds to create these tunnels under the guise of the subway expansion. Jack's father died because he figured out that the Mayor is stealing billions in gold.
Full Circle
- GameAnyone: 16 Full Circle (Time: 9:08)
- Jack is back in the construction yard for a short visit. More forward and hang a left. Follow the path to kill a guard and the upcoming construction workers. Grab the ammo, armor and health in the trailer.
- Exit the trailer and Jack is ambushed by several workers. Use slow-motions jumps to kill all the men and continue forward to kill a second group of workers. Backtrack to the opening and take the path to the right this time. Look for workers on the scaffolding.
- Move through the trench and look for a group of workers just ahead. Use Shadow on the man with the grenade launcher and fire grenades into the crowded area. Look for workers on the upper level of the yard as well.
- Pass through the gate marked by the green square. Use the portable toilets for cover and use slow-motion jumps to surprise the workers rushing Jack's position. Grab the health pack in the open trailer just ahead. Beware of the pack of enemies that spawn when exiting.
- Use the sniper rifle to kill the snipers in the distance. The AK-47 isn't that bad either if Jack is close enough. Run along the pathway and move to the bottom of the bridge. Use slow-motion jumps on any nearby workers.
- Use the bridge as cover when the chopper appears. Look for a rocket launcher spawn and snag it. Watch out for the workers that continually appear during the chopper attacks. Hit the chopper with rockets until it explodes. Exit through the double gates.
- CUTSCENE: Jack leaves the yard and follows the mayor's limo from his downtown office to the Iron Point penitentiary. The prison was facing federal investigation after Jack's escape. Jack infiltrates the empty prison and goes after the Mayor.
Post Riot Syndrome
- GameAnyone: 17 Boss - Rafshoon Diggs (Time: 9:12)
- Move forward and hang a right to grab some armor. Pass through the door and kill the unaware guard in the showers. Crouch behind ceramic shower partitions for cover and kill the remaining guards in the shower with slow-motion jumps.
- Exit the showers in the corner of the room. Jack moves into position to listen to a conversation about cleaning the prison. Move into Cell Block B and use a slow-motion jump to kill the four men around the corner to the right.
- Move through the busted gate and kill four more men along the hallway. Use the double doors to enter the main section of Cell Block B. Kill the first group of men with a slow-motion jump and grab the Secondary Fuse.
- Backtrack to the crossroads area and move into Cell Block A. Shoot the guards surrounding the electric chair and move towards the cellblock. Enter the main section of Cell Block A and repeat the strategy for killing the guards in B. Pick up the East Section Key and backtrack again.
- Head into Cell Block C this time. Shoot the men along the hall and pick up the armor in the security office if needed. Enter the main cellblock and kill the men with a slow-motion jump. Snag the health at the back of the room as well as the Guard Station Key.
- Backtrack to the opening section again and use the key. Kill the men in the halls and inside the small room with disarms. Grab the Primary Fuse and exit to the Main Lobby.
- As soon as Jack walks through the metal detector, the guards are alerted to his presence. Move into a slow-motion jump immediately and kill the four men in the room. Open the double doors and kill another four men. Grab the East Office Key.
- Open up the east office and look for a switch behind the desk to open the west office. Exit to the opposite side of the room and prepare to kill several guards in the west office. Take a human shield upon entering to protect Jack.
- Hit the switch behind the desk to unlock the Gas Chamber. Exit back out to the main room, but beware of a stream of men coming out of the east office. Backtrack into the previous hallway and kill the three security leaders with a couple slow-motion jumps. Enter the gas chamber.
- CUTSCENE: The heavyweight champ ambushes Jack and pulls a gun on him. Jack demands to know about the Mayor and Hildy. Jack goads the champ into a fair fight.
- Diggs is an expert at blocking. There's not much to do besides continuing with the combos over and over. Eventually his health will fall a bit. The second part of the fight involves keeping the ability to breath. Diggs turns on the gas stream in the chamber and uses a mask to breath.
- Land a successful combo and the mask comes flying off. Pick it up to resupply Jack's oxygen stream. Try to stay away from Diggs when Jack has the mask. The gas will start to wear down Diggs. If Diggs steals the mask back, just repeat the combo on him.
- CUTSCENE: Diggs collapses and Jack leaves the gas chamber. The Mayor sneaks up behind Jack and they start talking about his operation. The Mayor claims that he didn't kill Jack's father. The Mayor claims that Hennessey, a detective on the force, killed Jack's dad and blackmailed the Mayor. The Mayor proposes a deal to pardon Jack and kill Hennessey.
The Stash
- GameAnyone: 18 The Stash (Time: 8:10)
- Jack runs into a GAC unit member and Jack has to silence him before he has a chance to warn Hennessey. Use a disarm on the first guard and move into the main garage. Use the cars and the trucks for cover while shooting all the guards on the first floor.
- Walk to the opposite side and move up the stairs. Walk to the left and shoot the GAC unit member trying to reach Hennessey on the radio. Walk back downstairs and kill any remaining GAC unit guards. Pick up the Key and move back up the stairs to access the radio room.
- When the GAC unit guards flood the floor to use the car radios, rush back downstairs and use slow-motion jumps to kill all the men. Pick up another Key and use it on the radio at the top of the stairs. Walk through the open door.
- Run through the double doors and hang a right down the first hallway. Look for the first set of double doors on the right and enter the conference room. Shoot the three guards inside in a slow-motion jump and pick up the Maintenance Room Key.
- TIP: Try to use human shields as much as possible during this section. The GAC unit guards continually respawn and it's excellent for keeping Jack alive.
- Run out of the conference room and straight ahead. Hand a left at the intersection and another left into the maintenance room. Grab the armor and health. Hit the switch to cut the power to the basement doors.
- Move out of the maintenance room and backtrack towards the conference room. Take a left at the hallway intersection and another left to the basement door. Move down the stairs and kill one GAC unit guard with a disarm. Enter the basement and turn left to find Section 2C.
- Kill the guards in the hall and move follow the perimeter of the hallway. Stay away from the red trip wires. At section 6C, open the metal sliding door to the right.
- CUTSCENE: Jack finds a room containing the evidence that the Mayor wanted. He also finds the clown masks in the room. He decides to high tail it out of the police station and calls Gloria before leaving.
- Leave the room and backtrack along the hallway. Pick up the armor at the end of the first hall and look for GAC unit guards all along the path. Use slow-motion jumps and disarms to kill each group. Look for the green marked door to exit.
- CUTSCENE: Jack meets up with Gloria at Frank's grave. He gives her the dirt on Mayor Pinnacle. Unfortunately Pinnacle is blackmailing Gloria and she pulls a gun on Jack. A gunshot rings out, but it's Hildy! She shoots Gloria in the back and grabs the evidence for her own personal gain. She keeps the gun pointed at Jack as she exits.
Greed
- GameAnyone: 19 Greed (Time: 8:53)
- CUTSCENE: Jack is seen driving in the rain. He's tracking Hildy's car and follows her to Warden Air Force base. He parks the car and sneaks up on foot. Jack moves through the gate at the last moment.
- Use the sniper rifle to pick off the two mercenaries. Follow the path to the right and use slow-motion jumps to kill the mercs in the way. When the chopper appears, wait for it to drop off several men. Kill all of the assassins except for one. Take the last as a human shield and use him to access the nearby red box.
- Look for the gate on the opposite end of the compound. There is a large group of guards ahead. It's tempting to use the sniper to pick them off, but the chopper continues to drop off fresh forces. Power through the forces with disarms and hit the marked green button to open the gate.
- Run through the gate and jump the two guards directly ahead. Move along the walkway and look for mercenaries moving above. Use the AK-47 for quicker kills. Move along the cliff side and continue to follow the walkway. Use slow-motion jumps and disarms on the men in the path.
- When Jack reaches a locked gate, backtrack and take the left path. Pick up the health and armor before throwing the switch in the control room. Move through the unlocked gate and beware of the upcoming snipers.
- Hang to the right side and look for snipers on the buildings and docks. Stay crouched and near cover to avoid taking damage. Move down the stairs and kill a group of mercenaries with a slow-motion jump.
- The path to the left leads to a locked elevator and the path to the right leads to the guard with the key. The chopper is also dropping off guards the entire time. Grab the Key and use the elevator to access the hanger.
- Move forward and three security guards charge out of the door. Kill them with a slow motion jump or disarms. Move into the next room and shoot the guards around the perimeter of the room. Try to access the metal door at the far end.
- Kill the security guards that flood into the room and move out the door on the left side of the room. Kill guards along the hall and continue following the passage. Look for a small security room with a single guard. Kill him and pick up the Level 2 Security Pass.
- Backtrack along the walkway and move down the stairs. Security guards continue to spawn along the passage. Use the shotgun for the close quarters combat. Move back into the first room and access the previously locked door.
- Move along the new hallway and look for a level 3 doorway on the right. It's locked at the moment. Go through the door on the left and continue along the passage to find a guard with a Level 3 Security Pass. There's also a busted elevator nearby that needs a fuse. Snag the pass and return to the Level 3 door.
- Move through the Level 3 door and follow the hallway until reaching a door on the left. Move inside and kill the men with disarms or the shotgun. Pick up the Fuse off the final guard. Backtrack to the elevator and watch out for guards along the hall. Use the elevator to exit to the landing pad. Grab the health near the chopper and walk down the ramp.
- GameAnyone: 20 Boss - Mayor Pinnacle, The Twins (Time: 8:36)
- CUTSCENE: Jack is seen sneaking up on Hildy's meeting with Fahook. Fahook offers a bar of gold, but Hildy wants cash. Suddenly the Mayor comes up behind Hildy and shoots her in the back. Hildy crashes through the window. Jack grabs the Mayor and throws him out onto the landing pad.
- Jack enters into a fistfight with Mayor Pinnacle. Pinnacle throws a nasty four-punch combo, but gets easily winded after a few rounds. He doubles over and Jack has an opportunity to jump on his back. Alternate X and Circle button presses to wear down his health. Continue this process until his health has been expended from oxygen deprivation.
- TIP: If the Mayor grabs Jack by the throat, use the same button presses to free Jack from his grasp.
- Move into Fahook's office and grab the health / armor. Pick up the Explosives on the left side of the room. Jack decides to place the explosives around the hanger. Use Circle to set an explosive. Look for the green marked areas around the hanger to set the explosives.
- Head down the walkway and look for several guards on the hanger floor. Use disarms and slow-motion jumps to kill them while setting up the explosives. Look for explosive areas in the left corner of the room, the forklift, the open metal grate, the tail of the plane and the piping under the metal walkway.
- CUTSCENE: The main hanger doors open and two female assassins enter. One is carrying a grenade launcher and the other has two pistols. They both leap into slow-motion jumps and fire on Jack. He dives out of the way in the nick of time.
- Unfortunately Jack is on a 90 second timer. Target Meeshana first and use a couple slow-motion jumps to kill her. Take out the girl with the grenade launcher up close and move around her to avoid the blasts. After they are both down, race towards the exit marked by the green square.
- CUTSCENE: Jack smacks a mechanic in the head and steals the nearby motorcycle. Jack races away from the hanger as the explosives go off. Jack races onto the runway after Fahook's plane. An enemy on the bike approaches from behind. The rear of the plane opens and three mercs fire on Jack. Jack makes a flying leap off the end of the runway and shoots the biker behind him. The bike explodes and sends Jack flying into the plane.
Heavy Cargo
- GameAnyone: 21 Boss Fight - Fahook (Time: 8:53)
- Take out the first five men with slow-motion jumps. Watch out for men flooding into the room through the door on the far end. Move into the second room and try to kill the merc with the sniper rifle quickly. Move through the white hallway and look for enforcers on the upper walkway and behind the car.
- Pick up the Mid Deck Access Card and backtrack to the white hallway. Take a left through the previously locked doors and move up the stairs. Move through the single door and use a disarm on the enforcer immediately around the corner.
- Run to the end of the hall and perform a slow-motion jump to kill the two men to the right around the corner. Move into the next room and use disarms to kill the men hiding behind the seats. Pick up the Access Card.
- Backtrack to the previous staircase and look for a green icon marking the previously locked door. Watch out for new enforcers along the path. Move up onto the third floor and grab the unaware guard as a human shield. Use him to kill the second enforcer in the hall.
- Move into the neon-lit room and kill the enforcer on the left to pick up the Observation Deck Access Card. Use slow-motion jumps on the remaining men in this room. Move to the opposite end of the room and walk up the stairs.
- Jack runs into a group of "damsels in distress". They are actually assassins. Use Jack's blocking skill and combos to defeat them quickly. Walk back down into the neon-lit room, kill a few more enforcers and fire on Fahook until he runs. Fahook is seen trying to escape to the cargo deck.
- Follow Fahook back down to the first floor. Watch out for enforcers along the path. Disarms work well considering the time restraints. Move into the cargo bay to enter into a boss fight with Fahook.
- TIP: Look for health behind the car. There is also a respawning M4 in the room.
- Use the crates for cover and blast Fahook every time he dashes from a cover spot. The red crate to Jack's left is great for avoiding crouching. Avoid slow-motion jumps as the recovery time is too long.
- Fahook eventually runs out of the room and recovers all of his health from a swig of the booze bottle. Follow him to the cargo hatch. Look for a M4 in the far left corner, health near the door and armor on the opposite side from the health.
- Fahook has a devastating fire attack at this point in the battle. Note the liquor meter underneath his health. Fahook continually stops to take a drink and spit fire at Jack. Try to stay out of range of the fire. It blasts right through the crates.
- TIP: Target Fahook with the M4 each time he takes a drink. If Jack can hit the bottle, the booze meter falls and Fahook loses the ability to spit fire a bit faster. The fire attack is also halted.
- Continue picking up the M4 and firing on Fahook. When Fahook hits 20% health, use the slow-motion jump to finish him off.
- CUTSCENE: Fahook stumbles to the edge of the open cargo hatch and falls to his death. The scene shifts to the cockpit. The pilot tells Jack that the autopilot control has to be disengaged manually.
- Leave the cockpit and move through the door on the left. Move down the stairs and walk to the right side of the middle deck. Head to the end of the hallway and take a left. Move past the seats and look for a door on the right marked by the green square.
- Jack has to disarm a bomb on the autopilot controls. Unfortunately the lights are flickering and time is short. Try to memorize the upcoming bomb path to navigate the path in the dark.
- After disarming the bomb, move out of the room and along the hall to the right. Look for another small passage on the right when the path curves to the left. It leads to the metal walkway overlooking the cargo bay. Look for a doorway on the left that leads to the second bomb. Disarm it to save the plane.
- CUTSCENE: The plane makes a crash landing on the runway and fire trucks approach. Jack is seen speeding away in a news van. Jack gives all the dirt on the Mayor to the reporter and demands that he died in the plane crash. Jack asks to be dropped off at Mayhem Inc.
Story of the Century
- GameAnyone: 22 Final Boss - Hennessey (Time: 8:32)
- CUTSCENE: Jack walks into Bay Bell apartments with Shadow. He's contemplating how to kill Hennessey. Unfortunately there are GAC unit men waiting for him.
- There isn't much cover in the area. Use disarms and slow-motion jumps to kill the waves of GAC unit men in the lobby. They appear in the elevator, behind the counter, at the main entrance and near the front desk.
- Move into the door to the right of the front desk. A chopper crashes the skylight at the top of the apartment complex and drops GAC unit men into the central area. Use a slow-motion jump to kill the first wave of men and grab the rocket launcher in the fountain.
- Target the GAC Transport chopper and fire rockets at the chopper. It's also a good idea to move to the opposite side of the room and use Shadow to steal the rocket launcher from the GAC unit man on the balcony.
- Move up the stairs and fire the rockets at the transport chopper. The M4 also works well for wearing down the chopper. After the chopper explodes and crashes into the building, Hennessey enters the room.
- CUTSCENE: Hennessey is sporting a full body shield. He demands the evidence that Jack stole from the police station. Jack tells him that a friend has it for safekeeping. At that moment, a newscast plays the nearby TV. It implicates Hennessey in the conspiracy.
- The first section of the fight involves Hennessey's electric body shield. Use the water in the fountain to continually short out the shield. Don't waste ammo on Hennessey at this point. Just continue leading him into the water and jump out before it electrocutes Jack.
- After the shield explodes, follow Hennessey into the hallway. Fight off GAC unit guards with combos and preserve Jack's health with blocking. Pick up the health kit near the doorway if needed.
- Move through the double doors and Hennessey tackles Jack. Hennessey lights his fists on fire and the second section of the battle begins.
- TIP: Watch for sparks on the floor. It means that section of the floor is about to erupt in flames. Stay away from the sparks to avoid taking extra damage.
- Keep your distance and use combos to wear down Hennessey's health bar. Blocking is fairly ineffective at this point. Eventually he opens up the furnace at about 40% health. Run to the furnace and start using the throw move to toss Hennessey into the flames. His health falls completely after a few trips into the furnace.
- Hennessey makes a last ditch effort to kill Jack. He stumbles out of the furnace completely on fire and attacks Jack. Fortunately his health bar is similar to a minion at this point. A couple three punch combos kills Hennessey.
- GameAnyone: 23 Ending, Disarm Moves Intro (Time: 7:56)
- CUTSCENE: Hennessey is seen dead on the floor. Jack contemplates the events and decides to get out of the city to escape the feds. The last shot of the game pans over Grant City.
- CREDITS: A TV broadcast talks about Jack Slate's supposed death in the plane crash. Jack's jail buddy is seen receiving a package to help him legally leave prison.
