Dead Space 2 is a third-person sci-fi shooter/horror survival game for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. It was developed by Visceral Games and is being published by Electronic Arts. A sequel to 2008's Dead Space, Dead Space 2 features tense exploration of a spacestation overrun by monsters called "necromorphs."

Dead Space 2 begins three years after events of the first game. You take the role of Isaac Clarke who is suffering the aftereffects of his encounter with "The Marker" at the end of Dead Space. You awake dazed and straitjacketed on a space station infested by necromorphs. Your goal is to first figure out what is happening, then find a way to stop it while simply surviving the onslaught.
