Dead Space 2 is a third-person shooter and a horror survival video game released in North America on January 25, 2011. Rated M for Mature, Dead Space 2 is the sequel to Dead Space which was released on October 14, 2008. The main character of the game is Isaac Clarke, who also appears in the first episode of the series, but this time he must fight the Necromorphs who have infested a mining ship. The payer’s task is to assist Isaac Clarke in escaping the ship while he kills as many Necromorphs as he can. Each multiplayer match of Dead Space 2 consists of two rounds. During one round, players play as the human team, made up of Sprawl Security Officers. During the second round players are playing as Necromorphs. When playing as a human, players need to complete certain objectives while being attacked by Necromorphs. Being an objective based multiplayer mode, players who join a match should expect to receive clear orders that must be completed in order to win the game. The Sprawl Security Officers will be asked to detonate bombs or to reach certain areas of a ship, while the Necromorphs will have to stop them from achieving their objectives. Dead Space 2 includes five multiplayer maps: Escape, Titan Mines, Solar Array, Fuel Core and Marker Lab.Your human character can hold two weapons, the plasma rifle and another weapon. The second weapon is the plasma cutter by default. However, by reaching higher levels you can switch the secondary weapon.
