  • Story

    The story begins with civil engineer Isaac Clarke and his crew responding to a distress signal originating from the USG Ishimura, a large spacecraft purposed with destroying entire planets and harvesting the remaining resources. Upon their approach, they initiate a standard landing procedure only to end up crashing into the loading bay after they realize that the tether isn't functioning properly. Stranded and with their ship now in dire need of repair, they venture into the ship's interior, discovering to their horror that the entire vessel is completely overrun with hostile life forms known as Necromorphs.
