Dead Nation is a downloadable third-person survival horror action adventure available on the Playstation Store for Playstation 3. The game features lots of zombie action and various upgradable weapons. A mysterious virus turned the human population into zombies. You are one of the few survivors. Your character and the first victim ever infected by the virus (victim zero) are the key for a cure. Dead Nation is a survival horror action adventure. You control you character from a third-person point of view, located above your character. The camera angle cannot be changed, but will adjust in certain situations. At the beginning, your character is equipped with a flashlight, a rifle, grenades and flare grenades. Throughout the game you will be able to buy new weapons and upgrade your weapons as well as your armor. The enemies within the game are various kinds of zombies with some kinds being harder to eliminate than others. They mostly occur in the form of large groups that run towards you. The game features mostly post-apocalyptic urban environments, with several objects that are helpful in eliminate zombies such as exploding barrels and cars. • Always walk backwards while shooting at approaching zombies.
• Should zombies get to close, either use close combat or rush away.
• Grenades and flares are a great way of distracting large groups of zombies.
• Use heavy weapons such as the launcher, blade cannon or shocker for the bigger zombies.
• Use your rifle for most zombies to save ammunition and use the SMG for large groups of zombies.

• Always buy the new weapons.
• At first, upgrade your rifle and SMG. Then, the flares and grenades followed by the launcher and shocker.
• Afterwards upgrade the remaining weapons.
• Your armor should always be balanced, meaning that strength, endurance and agility should be about the same.

1. Walk to the other side of the roof and shoot the vehicle until it explodes.
2. Now, walk over the bridge and open the chest on the right. Then, use the control unit next to the bridge and cross the bridge.
3. Shoot the zombies on the following roof. Walk backwards while doing so. Then, follow the path to the ground.
4. Shoot the following blinking car on the other side of the fence to make it explode. You will notice that once the alarm goes off, all zombies will run towards the car. These cars will be useful throughout the game.
5. Follow the path and walk through the gate. Then, go to the weapon shop. I recommend buying the SMG and upgrading your current weapon.
6. Then, enter the next area and loot the trunks of the cars.
7. Proceed along the road and eliminate the attacking zombies.
8. Before walking through the next gate, open the two chestes to the left and right of the gate.
9. Now, upgrade your weapons at the weapon shop and open the chest behind the weapon shop.
10. Enter the next area and eliminate all zombies. Shoot the blinking cars to set off their alarm and distract the zombies.
11. Proceed and collect the money from the two chests on the left. Then, collect the med pack from the vending machine on the left of the next gate and open the chest to the right of the gate.
12. Open the gate and immediately move backwards. I recommend using the SMG for the attacking zombies.
13. Walk through the gate and eliminate all attacking zombies.
14. Before walking through the next gate straight ahead, walk right and follow the road to loot some more trunks as well as a chest on a parking lot. Be aware that a few zombies will run after you.
15. Now return and walk through the next gate.
16. Upgrade your weapons at the weapon shop.
17. Open the next gate and throw a flare to distract the zombies. Then, shoot the barrel until it explodes.
18. Continue along the path and eliminate some more zombies. Open the chest on the right when you walk over a little hill of grabage.
19. Use your SMG for the upcoming zombies and proceed.
20. When you reach the next bigger area go left to find a chest at the fence.
21. Loot the cars and take care of the upcoming zombies. Then, walk through the next gate.
22. You need to eliminate all zombies within the area to be able to proceed. Loot the cars and then shoot the blinking ones to distract the zombies.
23. Continue until the following gates opens. Note their is another chest to the right of the gate. Afterwards, you have completed level 1.

1. Upgrade your weapons and adjust your armor.
2. Proceed through the gate and kill the zombies in the next area. Then, loot the car trunks. If you are in need of health, there is a vending machine on the left.
3. Continue along the street, past the next fence. Again, kill the zombies and loot the cars.
4. Open the door at the fence and proceed. You will face a few zombies. Use your SMG to take them down.
5. Behind the bus to your left is a chest.
6. Continue along the street. You will face another wave of zombies. Use your SMG and shoot at cars to make them explode.
7. Do not be afraid of the fat zombie, it is pretty easy to kill. Just shoot at them and take distance before they explode.
8. Before you walk through the next gate, open the chest on the right a bit before the gate.
9. Then, walk through the gate, loot the cars and upgrade your equipment.
10. In the next area, loot the cars and do not touch the vending machines yet.
11. When you try to open the next gate, a lot of zombies will run towards you. Take your SMG and eliminate them. Shoot the blinking cars too.
12. After, proceed, loot the car and walk through the following gate.
13. You will again face quite a few zombies. Take them down.
14. Open the chest on the left and proceed.
15. Take out the upcoming zombies and go left to find another chest behind the fence. Be careful, a zombie will run towards you.
16. Then, walk through the gate and upgrade your equipment.
17. Proceed and eliminate the next wave of zombies.
18. Now, watch out for a ramp on your right that leads to a roof. You will find a lot of money there.
19. Continue along the street and shoot the upcoming zombies.
20. Watch out for an alley on your left. Walk into it and kill all upcoming zombies. Then, loot the cars and the chests.
21. Proceed, kill the zombie football team as well as other zombies and loot the cars.
22. After, walk through the gate and upgrade your equipment.
23. Walk through the gate into the next area. Be prepared, a lot of zombies will await you. I recommend using your SMG.
24. Walk along the street and watch out for a chest on our right. Once you approach it a few zombies will come out of the building. Eliminate them and open the chest.
25. Proceed and eliminate the next wave of police and prisoner zombies. You will face quite a few.
26. Walk down the street to your right and through the next gate. You will have to take out a few more zombies along the way. Afterwards, you have completed level 2.

1. Upgrade your equipment (get the flame thrower) and walk through the gate.
2. Take out all zombies in the next area and loot the cars. 
#You will see a fence on your left. Walk along it and then go behind it to get to a chest.
3. Now, proceed to the park.
4. You will face lots and lots of zombies in the park. You can try out your flamethrower now, but be careful not to light yourself on fire.
5. Eliminate all zombies in the park. Always, walk backwards while shooting at a group of zombies and if they get too close use close combat or rush away.
6. Collect the money from the chests in the park before walking through the next gate. The chests are located in an area to the right of the gate, in a rounded area across from the gate, and behind the building to the left of the gate.
7. After, walk through the gate and upgrade your equipment.
8. Use your SMG for the next part.
9. Walk across the bridge and shoot all upcoming zombies. There are a lot.
10. Then, go right to the end of the path and onto the grass. Go left and open the chests. Take out all zombies along the way.
11. Now, walk to the other side and through the next gate.
12. Go right and walk along the fence to find another chest.
13. Then, proceed to the control unit and press it to extend the bridge. You will need to press it several times to fully extend the bridge and each time you press it you will have to eliminate a wave of zombies. I recommend using the SMG.
14. After, walk over the bridge and take out the upcoming zombies.
15. Then, walk into the area with the trees on your right to find another chest at the end of that area.
16. Return to the main path and continue. Again take out the upcoming zombies and proceed through the next gate.
17. Upgrade your equipment and proceed.
18. Eliminate all zombies in the next area. Go right along the fence to find a chest.
19. Walk through the next gate and eliminate all enemies. You will face a lot of zombie clowns.
20. Then, go through the next gate and immediately go left. You will find a chest there.
21. Continue along the path through the dark forest. You will face a lot of enemies. Be prepared.
22. Now, walk through the gate and upgrade your equipment.
23. Eliminate all enemies in the following area and press “rush” to pass the fire.
24. Proceed along the street and rush over the fire. You will face lots of zombies along the way. The firemen zombies will not light on fire, but all other zombies will. Therefore, quickly rush backwards across the fire. The zombies will follow you and light on fire.
#At the end of the street you will face another zombie wave. Use your SMG.
25. Then, walk through the gate to complete level 3.

1. Upgrade your gear or save for the blade cannon.
2. Enter the next area and eliminate all zombies. Do not be afraid of the big muscled zombies. Fire a power shot at them and shoot them a couple more times. Just be careful that they do not jump on you.
3. Loot the cars and proceed.
4. Before walking over the ramp, walk behind the bus to find another chest.
5. Walk over the ramp and eliminate the upcoming zombies.
6. Go left and shoot the zombies behind the fence.
7. Move to the next fence, to your right when facing the first fence, and walk around it to find two more chests.
8. Eliminate all zombies along the way.
9. Enter the next area. Do not walk right but go straight. You will see a truck, which you can pass on both sides. In each area you will find enemies as well as a chest.
10. Now, return to the main road and proceed. Take out the zombies along the way and rush away when the muscled ones try to jump on you.
11. Before, walking through the gate to the next weapon shop, go the other way to find to more chests at the end of the road. But be careful, you will face a lot of zombies. Use your SMG.
12. After, walk through the gate to the weapon shop, upgrade your equipment and buy the blade cannon.
13. Proceed into the next area and take out the zombies ahead. Again evade the attacks of the muscled ones.
14. Before walking down the main street, go right behind the truck.
15. You will find a vending machine and some enemies.
16. Keep following the path and open the chest at the end of it.
17. Now, take your flamethrower and shoot at the zombies behind the fence and let them die.
18. Then, kick in the fence and collect a med pack.
19. Return to the main street and proceed.
20. Go left, and follow a small path back to find another chest.
21. Continue on the main path and take out all zombies.
22. Before going left at the end of the street, equip yourself with the SMG. You will face a big wave of zombies and two muscled zombies. Eliminate all.
23. Now, before walking through the next gate, walk the other direction.
24. Rush through the fire in the corner and follow the path to find a chest at the end of it. #Take out all zombies along the way. Then, kick in the fence on the right side and open another chest.
25. Now, return to the gate and upgrade your equipment at the weapon shop.
26. Enter the next area and eliminate the enemies ahead. Use the flame thrower and regular rifle.
27. Open the following gate and use your SMG to eliminate the zombies.
28. Use your regular rifle for all upcoming zombies.
29. Then, go left to the ambulance and get the health pack. Proceed forwards and take out the next zombies.
30. Walk through the area with the trees to find some more chests.
31. Now, enter the construction site and use the control unit.
32. You will face a lot of enemies after each time your press the control unit. For the first two waves of enemies, shoot the barrels and take out the remaining ones with your rifle.
33. Then, switch to SMG for the third round.
34. For the fourth round use the blade cannon on the muscled zombies. Then, kill the remaining ones with your SMG.
35. Now, get on the elevator and use the control unit. 
#You will be attacked by a few zombies on the elevator. Use your SMG.
36. After, upgrade your gear at the weapon shop.
37. Enter the next area and take out the zombies ahead.
38. Then, walk up the stairs to the next level. 
#Again, eliminate all zombies. Rush through the fire ahead to find another chest.
39. Now, use the control unit to extend the bridge. Cross it and walk up the stairs.
40. Equip your SMG and take out the zombies ahead.
41. Explore the area to your left to find another chest.
42. Then, fight your way through some more enemies to reach the end of level 4.

1. Upgrade your equipment (get the launcher) and enter the next area.
2. Take out the upcoming zombies and loot the cars.
3. Proceed along the path, but do not go left yet.
4. You will find two chests on the right. One is near the start of the area and the other one is further back.
5. Now, walk along the main path and take out the next wave of zombies.
6. Then, proceed through the gate and upgrade your equipment.
7. Enter the next area and kill the upcoming zombies.
8. You will find a chest behind the bus to your left and on the right of the street.
9. When you proceed over the ramp, you will face a lot of zombies. Use your SMG.
10. Walk down the street and when you reach the area with the cars, loot them and go left to find a chest.
11. Now, move through the gate and upgrade your equipment.
12. Enter the next area and equip yourself with the launcher.
13. Fire two shots and the upcoming zombie wave and take out the rest with the SMG.
14. Loot the cars and proceed down the street.
15. You will face another wave of zombies. Use your SMG.
16. Collect med packs from vending machines on both sides of the road and continue.
17. You will face another wave of enemies when you leave Chinatown. Use your launcher for the big zombie.
18. Continue along the path and take out the zombies along the way.
19. When you reach the vehicles blocking the way, go right and through a door to find another chest.
20. Right after that, use your SMG to take out the following zombies.
21. Continue down the street until you reach the green area. Afterwards, you have completed level 5.

1. Before upgrading your equipment, walk back to find a chest and some zombies.
2. Now, go upgrade your equipment.
3. Then, enter the next area and loot the cars.
4. Proceed and eliminate the upcoming zombies.
5. When you walk past the opening in the wall/fence, take out the zombies and go right, to find another chest in the corner of a building.
6. Continue along the main path, take out all zombies, walk through the gate and upgrade your equipment.
7. Enter the next area and shoot the upcoming zombies using your SMG.
8. Proceed and watch out for a chest in a small alley on your left.
9. Continue shooting the zombies and go left at an the next intersection to find another chest behind a building.
10. Now, walk back and go the other way.
11. Open the gate and eliminate the wave of zombies coming out of it.
12. Walk through the gate and take out all enemies in the next area.
13. Before going left and walking over the ramp, go right to find another chest.
14. Now, fight your way through the dark. On the left you will find another chest. Use your SMG for most of the shooting.
15. Finally, walk through the next gate and upgrade your equipment.
16. Enter the next area and eliminate the upcoming zombies. Use your SMG.
17. Walk along the path and open the two chests on the left. 
#Then, get your SMG and eliminate the following wave of zombies.
18. Proceed into the next area and shoot the zombies behind the fence to your left.
19. Continue along the fence to find another chest.
20. After, use the control unit for the elevator and get ready for lots of zombies. You need to kill all zombies before the door to the elevator opens. Use your SMG for the regular zombies and your launcher for the big ones. Also, make use of the blinking cars.
21. Finally, get onto the elevator and go to the weapon shop to upgrade your equipment.
22. Enter the next area and go left to find a chest.
23. Then, shoot the upcoming zombies.
24. Rush over the fire and shoot all zombies along the way.
25. Watch out for a fence on your right. Kick it in and follow the path to some more chests. Equip your launcher and shoot the following zombies and big zombie.
26. Now follow the path and eliminate the following wave of zombies. Use SMG and rifle.
27. Then, walk up the stairs ahead and eliminate all enemies. Again use the launcher or blade cannon for the big zombies.
28. Walk up the stairs and before stepping into the green area, rush over the fire to your right to find another chest.
29. Now, step onto the green area. Afterwards, you have completed level 6.

1. Before upgrading your equipment at the weapon shop, walk the opposite direction of the gate, to loot some cars and find a chest on the right and a chest at the very back in the truck.
2. Shoot all zombies along the way.
3. Now, go upgrade your gear and enter the next area.
4. Eliminate all upcoming zombies and loot the cars. Shoot the blinking car to distract the zombies.
5. Proceed along the path and before entering the graveyard go right and open the gate to find a few chests and some zombies. Use your SMG and launcher if needed.
6. Then, enter the graveyard.
7. Take out the zombies ahead and upgrade your equipment at the weapon shop.
8. Now, enter the next area.
9. You will face a lot of zombies. Use your rifle and SMG.
10. Further back on the left side you will find a building with a chest inside. Shoot the walls, they will collapse.
11. You will also find a chest on the right, underneath a structure.
12. Eliminate all zombies and proceed to the next part of the graveyard.
13. Shoot the upcoming zombies and proceed to the next part.
14. You will face a big wave of zombies as well as a big zombie. Use your SMG and aim for the big one first.
15. Continue along the path and before walking over the ramp to the next weapon shop, walk right to find a chest at the end. Take out the zombies along the way.
16. Then, go to the weapon shop and upgrade your equipment.
17. Enter the next area and follow the path. Take out all zombies along the way.
18. Before walking over the ramp, go left to find some chests.
19. Walk over the ramp and go right.
20. Eliminate the zombies and open the chests at the end of the path. 
#Get back to the main path and proceed. Watch out for another area with chests along the wall on the right. You will face a couple zombies there.
21. Follow the path and eliminate all upcoming zombies. Use the launcher for the big ones and the SMG for the others.
22. After, upgrade your equipment at the weapon shop. Get as many flares and grenades as possible. Get ammo for SMG, launcher, shotgun. The next part is going to be hard. You will face a huge amount of zombies.
23. Your goal is to shoot the walls of the four buildings in the next area and then survive until the next gate opens. When you first run into the area, quickly go left and shoot the wall of the building before any zombies can attack you. Then, fight your way through to the next building and throw a flare to distract the zombies while you shoot the wall. Continue with that strategy until you shot the walls of all four buildings. Use the launcher for the big zombies. Note, two health packs are located in the bushes left and right of the next gate. Once the gates open, you have completed level 7.

1. Upgrade your equipment and enter the next area.
2. Loot the car and eliminate the upcoming wave of zombies. Use your SMG and shoot at the car to make it explode.
3. Continue along the path and eliminate all zombies.
4. Shortly after you go left, go left again to find another chest.
5. Follow the wall/fence to get to another chest. Eliminate the zombies along the way.
6. Then, enter the gate and upgrade your equipment.
7. Enter the next area and follow the path.
8. You will face a wave of zombies once in a while. Use your SMG for that. For single zombies, use your rifle.
9. Watch out for a chest behind a train on your left.
10. When you reach the control unit, press it and go around the train in front of you.
11. Proceed along the path and upgrade your equipment at the next weapon shop.
12. Enter the next area and take out the upcoming wave of zombies.
13. Loot the cars and go left to find a chest.
14. Proceed and kill the following zombies.
15. You will find another chest on your right further down the path.
16. Follow the path until you reach the next weapon shop. Kill the zombies along the way. Use your SMG for most of them.
17. Now, upgrade your equipment and enter the next area.
18. When you go left you will find another chest.
19. Use the control unit and use your SMG to eliminate the wave of zombies.
20. Follow the path and eliminate the next wave of zombies. Use your SMG for the regular zombies and your launcher or blade cannon for the big ones.
21. You will need to eliminate quite a few zombies before the red blinking fence opens.
22. Go left when facing the red blinking fence to find another chest.
23. Afterwards walk into the green area to complete level 8.

1. Upgrade your equipment at the weapon shop and enter the next area.
2. Open the chest to your right and loot the cars.
3. Then, eliminate the upcoming zombies. Shoot at the blinking cars to distract them.
4. Now, proceed along the path to the fence.
5. Light the zombies behind it on fire and then open the door in the fence.
6. Use your SMG to eliminate the next wave of zombies.
7. Then, walk over the ramp.
8. Eliminate the zombies ahead. Use your SMG.
9. After, go left to find another chest. Select your launcher before opening the chest. You will face a big zombie.
10. Use your SMG for the following regular zombies.
11. Proceed along the path and take out all zombies along the way.
12. Walk over the containers in the water to your right and upgrade your equipment at the weapon shop.
13. Enter the next area and eliminate the enemies ahead.
14. Then, follow the path down the “treadmills”. Be careful not to get caught in the knives and use your SMG to eliminate the enemies.
15. Look out for an opening on your left to find a chest.
16. Continue along the path and eliminate all zombies.
17. You will face a lot more zombies once you get off the “treadmill”. Use your SMG and flares.
18. Loot the cars on the big square and go left to find another chest.
19. Walk over the bridge and shoot the barrels to your left. You will find some more chests behind it. Use your SMG to eliminate the following zombies.
20. Continue along the path and use the control unit.
21. Walk over the bridge and shoot the zombies and the barrels to your left. There is another chest.
22. Continue along the path. You will face lots of zombies at the next square.
23. Shoot the big ones by using your launcher. Then, use SMG or shotgun for the remaining ones.
24. Go right to find a chest and another one by following the fence.
25. Then, go through the gate and upgrade your equipment at the weapon shop.
26. Enter the next area and shoot the upcoming zombies.
27. Watch out for a chest on your right, between the trucks.
28. If you go left you can find another chest behind the building.
29. Proceed and eliminate the next wave of zombies. Use the launcher for the beg ones and the SMG for the rest.
30. Finally, use the control unit to open the gate and get on the transporter.
31. Equip yourself with the SMG. You will face a couple zombies on your way.
32. Use SMG for the wave zombies at the end as well.
33. Then walk into the green area to complete level 9.

1. Upgrade your equipment. I recommend some flares and grenades.
2. Then, enter the next area.
3. Loot the cars and eliminate the zombies ahead.
4. Keep following the path and shoot all zombies. Use the SMG for large amounts of zombies.
5. When you walk over the ramp open the chest behind the red bus and eliminate all enemies.
6. Once you proceed you will face a lot more zombies. Use the launcher for the big ones and the SMG in combination with grenades for the regular ones.
7. Continue along the path and before walking over the bridge to your right keep going straight to find another chest.
8. Shoot the upcoming zombies and walk over the bridge.
9. Then, upgrade your equipment at the weapon shop.
10. Have your SMG ready before entering the next area and shoot the upcoming ft zombies.
11. Go right and back to find another chest.
12. You can proceed either way (left or right) or both to collect more money. If you want to do both, walk one street all the way to the end but do not walk over the ramp.
13. Either way, you will face a lot of zombies. As usual, use the launcher for the big ones and your SMG for the regular ones. Throw some grenades for extra help.
14. Then, walk over the ramp and over the following ramp too.
15. Eliminate the upcoming zombies and go left to find another chest.
16. Now, proceed and take out the next waves of zombies.
17. Rush through the fire to your left and go right to find another chest.
18. Then, proceed and use the control unit to call the elevator.
19. Get on the elevator.
20. When you leave the elevator go straight ahead to find another chest.
21. Eliminate the upcoming zombies and upgrade your equipment at the weapon shop.
22. Enter the next area and shoot the zombies. Use the launcher on the big ones.
23. Go right and back to find some chests.
24. Proceed and fight your way forward.
25. You will face some more big zombies. Be prepared to use your launcher.
26. You can find a chest behind two buses on your right.
27. Keep going right to find another chest and then two more chests behind a fence which you can open a bit further ahead.
28. Do not forget to loot the cars.
29. Then, upgrade your equipment at the weapon shop.
30. Enter the next area and go right to open the fence and find another chest.
31. Then, proceed through the upcoming gate. You will face a huge amount of zombies now. Use your shotgun and SMG and throw grenades as well as flares to distract them. Always be moving and rush away from the zombies.
32. After, before proceeding into the next area, go to the other end of the current area to find a chest.
33. Enter the next area and have your launcher ready. You will face a few big ones.
34. Use your SMG in combination with flares or grenades for the regular ones. The shocker also works very well on masses of zombies.
35. When you are done killing everything in the current area, walk through the gate on the right to find some chests.
36. Now, proceed through the other gate to face some more zombies. Use your flamethrower and then shoot at them with your rifle.
37. Fight your way through and finally step into the green area in front of the helicopter. Afterwards, you have completed Dead Nation.
