The Daytona Twin 150s, known officially as the Gatorade Duel, consists of two 150-mile races that help determine the field for the Daytona 500. Originally, these began as two 100-mile races, then were changed to 125-mile races, and most recently were increased to two 150-mile races. The first race takes place at 2PM EST on Thursday, February 14, 2008. This page will provide live coverage of the Daytona Twin 150s.

- FINAL LAP: Denny Hamlin wins, with Andretti and Jarrett getting the provisional spots
- LAP 61: Hamlin passes Stewart for the lead - 1 lap to go - Jarrett will get in
- LAP 60: Now waiting for track to be cleared with 2nd Red Flag of the race, then we move into overtime mode. The current Top 5: Stewart, Hamlin, Gordon, Kahne, and Martin. The 2 provisional spots: Jarrett (6th) and Reutimann (10th), with Andretti (14th) and Schrader (18th) are chasing those.
- LAP 58: Andretti and Schrader come to pit row, Jarrett and Reutimann do not - these are the 4 battling for the final 2 spots Sunday, right now occupied by Jarrett and Reutimann.
- LAP 57: Top 2 cars (Stewart and Hamlin) are Toyotas - CRASH! - Carpentier hits the wall and damages a tire - yellow flag - will be settled in a white/green flag 2 lap shootout
- LAP 56: Transfer spots: Jarrett and Reutimann, followed closely by Carpentier and Andretti

- LAP 1: Reutimann jumps out in front and he was issued a black flag on the start, so he gets a stop-and-go penalty

- Michael Waltrip will be on the pole for the 2nd race, with David Reutimann also on the front row. Others to watch for include: Matt Kenseth 8th, Dale Jarrett 12th, Jeff Gordon starting 24th, and Tony Stewart 25th. Gordon and Stewart are 2 of 3 drivers that needed to move to the back of the field because they needed to replace their engines, Hamlin the other. Franchitti missed the drivers meeting and also goes to rear of field.
- Coming up in a few minutes - history shows that when the 1st of these races is clean with no wrecks and few yellow cautions, the 2nd race tends to be littered with them

- LAP 56: Green flag will come with 3 laps to go - Vickers and many of the "transfer spot drivers" are pitting with 3 laps to go
- LAP 55: 5 laps to go, Dale Jr leads Sorenson, with Wallace and Vickers to two getting in as Sadler goes into the wall and brings out a yellow flag with a blown tire

- LAP 51: Here comes Dale Jr in the 88 to take the lead
- LAP 50: Down the final 10 laps, and Johnson out of Top 10 - Newman leading Sorenson and Dale Jr. running 3rd, looks like Bill Elliott is out

- LAP 32: Still racing at green, and now the strategy of when to pit comes into play
- LAP 31: Some of the cars now hitting pit row in the next few laps - a splash of gas, Boris Said one of them coming in
- LAP 30: Halfway through first race, Vickers coming to pit row again, this time with a tire issue
- LAP 28: Elliot Sadler back on the track with a new tire - they showed the replaced tire which was badly blistered
- LAP 26: Nearing the halfway mark, when the drivers are expected to hit pit row... Dale Jr, followed closely by Newman and Sorenson at front of the pack
- LAP 24: Top 8 cars are either Dodge or Chevrolet
- LAP 22: Elliot Sadler rubs the wall and has a tire issue, coming to pit row, but we're still under green

- LAP 15: 1/4 of the way through, and Truex and Edwards have the lead, Dale Jr. making his move in his new #88 car
