The 51st NASCAR race Daytona 500 took place on Sunday, February 15, 2009 in Daytona Beach, Florida. Martin Truex, Jr. and Mark Martin were in the front row, but Matt Kenseth won the race, as he was in the lead when the race was called due to rain.
