Days of Our Lives

Days of our Lives is an American soap opera that airs weekdays on NBC. Set in the fictional town of Salem, USA, the show follows the lives of characters in the Horton, Brady, Dimera, and Kiriakis families as they live and interact with one another. Current veteran's and fan favorites on the show include Susan Rogers as Maggie Horton, Peter Reckell as Bo Brady, Kristian Alfonso as Hope Williams Brady, James Reynolds as Abe Carver, Joseph Mascolo as Stephano Dimera, and Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney as Sami Brady.

Since it first aired in November of 1965, Days of Our Lives has remained a fan favorite, and was recently renewed for a 45th season, taking it through 2011. Over the years, Days of Our Lives has won a variety of Daytime Emmy Awards and People's Choice Awards, and has been at the forefront of pushing the limit with storylines. In its forty year history, Days has been known for over-the-top plots including a serial killer wiping out beloved characters, who turned out not to be dead, and a plot wherein a lead character was possessed, Exorcist style, by the devil.
