Dawn of Discovery: Venice is the latest expansion for the real-time strategy and simulation game Dawn of Discovery, also known as Anno 1404. The expansion was developed by Related Designs, published by Ubisoft and was released on: February 26, 2010. The game is rated T for Teen and is available only on the PC. Dawn of Discovery: Venice adds several new features to the first episode of the game. Gameplay
In this expansion the players can access more features that are provided by the developer in order to enhance the gameplay of the original game. First of all, the player can enjoy the beauty of a new city, Venice, and will meet a new character, Giacomo Garibaldi. The player will be able to build an entire Armada and be able to customize ships from his fleet as he wishes. Dawn of Discovery: Venice adds over 300 new quests, 60 new items, new scenarios, crests that can be collected, rewards and a new island type. In the multiplayer mode, 3 players can fight against each other in the Vs mode, or they can create alliances to defeat the AI in the Co-Op mode.

- Anno 1503: The New World (or 1503 A.D.: The New World) was released on April 4, 2003;
- Anno 1701 (1701 A.D.) was released on October 30, 2006;
- Anno 1404 (also known as Dawn of Discovery) was released on June 23, 2009;
- Anno 1404: Venice (or Dawn of Discovery: Venice) is, as of March, the latest episode of this saga. Related Designs and Ubisoft have made no official announcements that a new episode will follow.

The video above shows you the new features available in this expansion. As you can see no major modification have been brought to the game’s interface, however there are new buildings to be constructed, a new island type, new characters and new multiplayer modes to be accessed. The game requires the same computer specs as the original game.
