Dawn Mission

The Dawn Mission is NASA's project to send the robotic space probe Dawn to orbit and analyze two members of the asteroid belt, the dwarf planet Ceres and the asteroid Vesta. Its analysis of those bodies is expected to lead to new information on how planetary bodies are formed.
