The New York Mets' David Wright suffered a concussion after being hit in the head with a ball thrown by San Francisco Giants pitcher Matt Cain on August 15, 2009. Wright was hospitalized at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and was released on Sunday, August 16, 2009, with "post-concussion symptoms."
