Life and Career
David Wenham was born in New South Wales, Australia. He has five older sisters and one brother and was raised as a Catholic.He first came to fame in Australia for his role as "Diver Dan" in the Australian series SeaChange. Soon after that he appeared in a number of films, but his biggest blockbuster appearance to date has been as Faramir in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings.
He has a daughter with girlfriend Kate Agnew. In 2008 he is set to appear in Baz Luhrmann's Australia opposite Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman.

Just finished 'Australia', loved the little boy 'Nallah' very impressed with David Wenham and his theatrical universe. BAZ LUHRMAN ROCKS!
