David Weathers is a Major League Baseball relief pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds.
MLB Career
David Weathers was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in 1988 and made his big league debut on August 2, 1991. Weathers was then selected by the Florida Marlins in the 1992 expansion draft. He has since played for several Major League teams, including two separate stints with the Marlins and Reds. Weathers again joined the Reds in 2005 where he became the closer in 2007, posting 33 saves that season.
