David Spade is an actor/comedian who has appeared in numerous films and sitcoms, in addition to doing stand-up comedy. Spade joined the cast of NBC's Saturday Night Live in 1990, where he starred in sketches with Chris Farley, Adam Sandler and others.
Rifle Donation
In late December 2008, Spade donated $100,000 to the police department in Phoenix, Arizona, towards the purchase of new rifles. Spade made the statement, "These guys need to be able to do their jobs, and I am just happy I could help." Movie Career
After SNL, Spade kicked off his movie career with roles alongside Farley in Tommy Boy and Black Sheep. He went on to play the starring role in films such as Joe Dirt and Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, and lent his voice to Disney's The Emperor's New Groove in 2000.
