David Rockwell is an American architect and CEO of the Rockwell Group, an architecture and design firm based in New York City.
Rockwell has designed interiors for the several W Hotel locations in New York City, restaurant interiors for celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay, Bobby Flay, Nobu Matsuhisa and collaborated with designers to create a viewing platform at Ground Zero, shortly after 9/11.
Rockwell has also worked as a scenic designer for the Broadway musicals Legally Blonde, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Hairspray.
