David Price is a professional baseball pitcher. He was the first overall pick by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 2007 MLB Draft.

Early Life and Pro Career
David Taylor Price was born in Murfreesboro Tennessee on August 26, 1985. He later attended Blackman High School. Price continued his education at Vanderbilt University. Price made his MLB debut with the Tampa Bay Rays on September 14, 2008. Price was then added to the Rays Playoff roster. In game 7 of the 2008 American League Championship Series, Price recorded a 4 out save helping the Rays preserve a 3-1 lead and propelling them to the 2008 World Series, the first in it's franchise's history.
