David Morse is an American actor. He was born on October 11, 1953 in Hamilton, Massachusetts. He has three siblings. On June 19, 1982, Morse married actress Susan Wheeler Duff. They have three children together. The family currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Acting Career
Morse began his acting career in theater in the early 1970's. He became famous for his role of Dr. Jack "Boomer" Morrison in the television drama St. Elsewhere in 1982. From there, he went on to play in the films The Good Son, The Rock, Twelve Monkeys, Contact and The Negotiator. His more recent works include The Green Mile, Double Vision, Dreamer: Inspired by a True Story, Hounddog and Disturbia. Morse was recently cast in the HBO mini-series John Adams (The Film) where he played the role of George Washington. The show was released on March 16, 2008. His future works include the films Passengers and The Hurt Locker.
